On 22 Feb 06 Lt. Wilson issued a citation
to a sixteen year old Marietta resident for traveling 41 mph
in a 20 mph school zone. Lt. Wilson stopped the juvenile on
Warrior Drive at Warren High School in Barlow Township.
On 22 Feb 06 the owner of Marietta RV reported
between 5 pm on 15 Feb and 8 am the following day, six propane
tanks, a regulator and copper tubing were stolen from his business
and an RV damaged in the process. This case remains under investigation
(501).
On 22 Feb 06 David J. Mason, age 46, 650 Stacy
Orchard Road, Marietta, reported miscellaneous glassware, four
propane tanks, two hot plates, tools and metal shelving were
stolen from a barn on his rental property at 20 Stacy Orchard
Road. This case remains under investigation (1097).
On 22 Feb 06 Joan D. Florence, age 38, 1617
Staunton Avenue, Parkersburg, reported a large quantity of
vehicle parts, welding equipment and fencing were stolen from
a property she and her husband own at 18931 State Route 7,
Marietta. This case remains under investigation (592).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Daniel Vernon Tanner, age 24, 250 Vandals
Fork, Spencer, WV, for OVI and for failure to yield, both misdemeanors.
McCarty was arrested in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22
Feb 06 at 3:07 am.
Christina Gayle Baker, age 24, 280 Indian
Run Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation,
a misdemeanor. Baker was arrested at the office of Probation
Officer Ketelsen and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 22 Feb 06 at 10:29 am.
Kathy Renee Harner, age 36, 2005 ½ Washington Boulevard
Apt. 2, Belpre, for theft and forgery, both felonies. Harner
was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy
Sheriff Willson and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 22 Feb 06 at 11:10 am.
Gary Bruce Johnson, age 47, 16875 Murphy Road, Amesville,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Johnson
was arrested at the Courthouse by Patrolman Douglas of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 22 Feb 06 at 11:10 am.
Joanna Louise Dearing, age 23, Pennock Trailer Court Lot 9,
Beverly, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Dearing was
arrested on Maple Street in Marietta by Patrolman Heddleston
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 22 Feb 06 at 11:15 am.
Samuel Lee Damron, age 29, 197 Faye Avenue Apt. B, Marietta,
for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Damron was arrested at
his residence by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
22 Feb 06 at 7:09 pm.
John Thomas McLaughlin, age 42, 20 Stacy Orchard Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. McLaughlin
was arrested at his residence by Lt. Canavan of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 22 Feb 06 at 11:20 pm.
