On 16 Feb 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole issued
a citation to William Chutes Jr., age 50, 102 Simpson Street,
Marietta, for failure to register, his license plates expired
on 28 Sep 05. Deputy Stackpole stopped Mr. Chutes on State
Route 7 near Township Road 7 in Warren Township.
On 16 Feb 06 Kathy Davis, age 52, 3830 Veto
Road, Vincent, reported receiving notification of an alarm
at her store, Country Corner Grocery, 2346 State Route 550,
Cutler. Arriving at the store, Ms. Davis noticed the window
to the deli was broken but no merchandise was missing from
inside. This case remains under investigation (296).
On 16 Feb 06 a seventeen year old student
at Warren High School reported his wallet containing cash and
a credit card was stolen from the boy’s locker room while
he attended basketball practice the afternoon of 13 Feb 06.
This case remains under investigation (1183).
On 16 Feb 06 Detective Sirianni responded
to the scene of the death of an eighty year old Stockport resident.
Detective Sirianni determined the woman’s death resulted
from natural causes; no foul play is suspected.
On 16 Feb 06 an employee of Hilltop Auto Wrecking
reported the business received two bad checks totaling $125
from a business on 14 and 15 Nov 05 and a bad check from another
business for $133.75 on 22 Dec 05. These cases remain under
investigation (8411).
On 16 Feb 06 four females reported to Warren
High School assistant principal Warren Carter that a male classmate
is persistent in his sexual advances and continuously grabs
at their chests. The fifteen year old suspect was arrested
and taken to the Washington County Juvenile Detention Center
by his probation officer and ordered to appear in Juvenile
Court for being delinquent.

Raymond White III, age 28, 5780 South Winds
Drive Apt. 133, Mentor on the Lake, OH, for attempted unlawful
sexual
conduct with a minor, a felony. White was arrested in Marietta
by Detective
Smithberger of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Feb 06
at 1:05 am.
Patrick Timothy Shaw, age 39, 718 Ohio Avenue
Apt. B, Belpre, for workers compensation fraud, a felony. Shaw
was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Underwood of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 16 Feb 06 at 11:35 am.
Jessica Dawn Drake, age 18, 402 Jefferson Square, Marietta,
for escape, a misdemeanor. Drake was picked up in Jefferson
County by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 16 Feb 06 at 2:45 pm.
Margaret Ann Gentry, age 49, 501 Gainesway Drive, Grayson,
KY, for theft, forgery and tampering with records, all felonies.
Gentry was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16
Feb 06 at 3:10 pm.
Wesley Leon Fullen, age 24, 1441 Fair Avenue, Columbus, for
contempt of a court order, a felony. Fullen was picked up in
Franklin County by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 16 Feb 06 at 4:00 pm.
Robert Lee Gentry, age 47, 4700 Czar Avenue, Cleveland, for
OVI, driving under an FRA suspended license and speeding, all
misdemeanors. Gentry was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 16 Feb 06 at 4:30 pm.
Robert Allen Williams, age 39, 339 Seventh Street, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Williams was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 16 Feb 06 at 8:47 pm.
Terri Star Lonzo, age 23, 7405 Old River Road, Philo, OH,
for illegal manufacturing of drugs, a felony. Lonzo was arrested
on State Route 7 by Detective Warden of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 16 Feb 06 at 9:15 pm.
Jason Alan Winkle, age 24, 803 Merrick Avenue, Zanesville,
for illegal possession of drug chemicals, a felony. Winkle
was arrested on State Route 7 by Detective Warden of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 16 Feb 06 at 10:45 pm.
Bruce Allen Porter, age 40, 7635 Dietrich Road, Philo, OH,
for illegal manufacturing of drugs, a felony. Porter was arrested
on State Route 7 by Detective Warden of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 16 Feb 06 at 11:30 pm.
