On 15 Feb 06 Bill Jacobs, age 44, 50 Miller’s
Lane, Marietta, reported when he was awakened by his barking
dog at 2:30 am he believes an unknown suspect entered his truck
and stole two gold bracelets, ten CD’s and a toolbox.
This case remains under investigation (695).
On 15 Feb 06 Dean B. Ring, age 76, 2727 Gilbert
Avenue NE, Canton, reported for the past few years he has been
having trouble with a neighbor’s cattle coming onto and
damaging the property of his summer home at 336 Long Eddy Road,
New Matamoras. This case remains under investigation (695).
On 15 Feb 06 a thirty-two year old New Matamoras
resident reported receiving early that morning, hang up phone
calls from an individual she believes is her ex-boyfriend.

On 15 Feb 06 Kimberly S. Drayer, age 40, 2103
McGill Road, Belpre, struck a deer as she traveled northbound
on State Route 339 near Warrior Drive. Ms. Drayer’s Plymouth
Voyager sustained disabling damage; she reported no injuries
(792).
On 15 Feb 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole assisted
Lt. Wilson with a traffic stop by conducting a canine search
with his dog Aboo. Once Aboo indicated the presence of drugs
in the vehicle Deputy Stackpole located a bag of marijuana
in a purse belonging to Susan Harvey, age 31, 11722 State Route
555, Cutler, and half of a marijuana joint inside a hardback
book that was on Ms. Harvey’s lap. In consequence, Deputy
Stackpole issued Ms. Harvey a minor misdemeanor citation for
possession of marijuana.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Victor A. Carver, age 27, 1812 Cameron Avenue,
Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation by failing
to show proof of obtaining a valid operator’s license
or to appear to serve ten days in jail on 28 Jun 05.
Jerry L. Hess II, age 32, 925 Wiley Street, Belpre, for failing
to appear to serve fourteen days in jail on 3 Feb 06.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
David Jason Cotton, age 32, 8 Seventh Street, Belpre, for
disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Cotton was
arrested on the Belpre Bridge by Patrolman Morris of the Belpre
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 15 Feb 06 at 1:40 am.
Bernice Crocket, age 53, 100 Shemwood Lane Apt. 34C, Greenville,
SC, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Crockett was arrested
on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 15 Feb 06 at 7:02 am.
Shannon Marie Fowler, age 29, 628 Eighth Street, Marietta,
for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Fowler
was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 15 Feb 06 at 7:22 am.
Christopher Michael Fowler, age 30, 628 Eighth Street, Marietta,
for OVI, driving under a suspended license and for driving
left of center, all misdemeanors. Fowler was arrested at his
residence by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
15 Feb 06 at 7:40 am.
Patrick Brian Nichols, age 42, 836 Pike Street
Apt. 14, Marietta, for OVI, driving under an OVI suspended
license, failure to appear and for breach of recognizance,
all misdemeanors. Nichols was arrested at Marietta Memorial
Hospital by Deputy Sheriff Tornes and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 15 Feb 06 at 10:54 am.
