On 13 Feb 06 an employee of Decatur Township
reported finding several bags of trash thrown over a hill,
a half mile from Welch Road on Turkey Hollow Road. This case
remains under investigation (1203).
On 13 Feb 06 Richard B. Sheets, age 56, 2869
Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, reported sometime during the past
month a set of four wheeler ramps was stolen from his garage.
When the ramps were located in a neighbor’s possession
Mr. Sheets declined to pursue the matter further (200).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Charles W. Baker III, age 33, 435 Francis
Road, Lowell, for failing to appear to serve ten days in jail
on 2 Feb 06.
Charles M. Biehl, age 42, 600 Tick Hill Road, Lowell, for
failing to appear at a probation violation hearing and for
a trial on 1 Feb 06.
Brewce Martin, age 40, 34961 Hutton Road, Rutland, OH, for
failing to appear to serve three days in jail on 29 Nov 05.
Benjamin D. Caplinger, age 35, 310 Main Street, Lowell, for
disorderly conduct by fighting on 27 Dec 05.
Jennifer L. Grimes, age 32, 122 Tennis Center Drive, Marietta,
for safecracking and the subsequent theft of $425 and a Visa
card on 13 Dec 05.
James E. Hill, age 53, 122 Oak Grove Lane, Marietta, for failing
to appear to serve twenty-one days in jail on 14 Dec 05.
James D. Reynolds, age 43, 907 Riverview Estates, Belpre,
for driving under a suspended license and for having fictitious
registration on 19 Jan 06.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Robert Alan Nickols, age 28, Marietta, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Nickols was arrested at the Courthouse by Patrolman
Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 13 Feb 06 at 5:20 pm.
Jim Thomas Amason III, age 23, 4157 Old Jennings Road, Middleburg,
FL, for speeding and driving under a suspended license, both
misdemeanors. Amason was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 13 Feb 06 at 5:48 pm.
David Andrew Walker, age 19, 2836 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Walker
was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Feb 06 at 10:06
pm.
