On 11 Feb 06 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes conducted
a traffic stop on a vehicle he observed travel left of the
centerline. The driver, Mark Richard Kolessar, age 37, 69 Sand
Ridge Road, Waterford, admitted consuming two beers that evening
but failed to complete or refused to complete sobriety tests
administered by Deputy Rhodes. Therefore, based on his observations
Deputy Rhodes arrested Mr. Kolessar for OVI and driving left
of center and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 11 Feb 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks investigated
a report of two suspicious persons sitting in a vehicle in
a driveway on County House Lane. Approaching the driver of
the vehicle, Rylee E. Wagner, age 19, 311 Muskingum Drive,
Marietta, Deputy Parks noticed an odor of alcohol and that
the vehicle’s ignition was turned to the “on” position.
Ms. Wagner slurred her speech and experienced trouble balancing
while performing field sobriety tests. As a result, Deputy
Parks arrested Ms. Wagner for OVI. The passenger in the vehicle,
Donald Burnett Jr., age 33, 138 Rauch Drive, Marietta, also
appeared intoxicated and was arrested for disorderly conduct
by intoxication. Both were then transported to the Washington
County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Heather Dawn Lang, age 30, 1310 Bosner Ridge Road, Lowell,
for OVI and for failing to dim her lights, both misdemeanors.
Lang was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11
Feb 06 at 2:06 am.
Mark Richard Kolessar, age 37, 69 Sand Ridge Road, Waterford,
for OVI, driving under a suspended license and for driving
left of center, all misdemeanors. Kolessar was arrested on
State Route 339 by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 11 Feb 06 at 2:25 am.
James Elton Buck, age 47, 212 Maple Street, Marietta, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Buck was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta
by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Feb 06
at 2:35 am.
Nathan Corey Strickler, age 18, 88 High Street, Vincent, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Strickler
was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 11 Feb 06 at 3:10 am.
Donald Burnett Jr., age 33, 2785 Pleasant Ridge Road, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Burnett
was arrested on County House Lane by Deputy Sheriff Parks and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Feb 06 at 4:15
am.
Rylee Elizabeth Wagner, age 19, 311 Muskingum Drive, Marietta,
for OVI, a misdemeanor. Wagner was arrested on County House
Lane by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 11 Feb 06 at 4:40 am.
William Charles Hart, age 22, 231 Franklin Street Apt. 1,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Hart was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Patrolman
Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 11 Feb 06 at 5:30 am.
Roger W. Burkhart Jr., age 20, 655 Goose Run Road, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Burkhart was arrested at his residence
by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Feb 06
at 9:32 am.
Mark Lee Hughey, age 36, 35547 Cats Creek Road, Macksburg,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Hughey
was arrested at Applebee’s by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 11 Feb 06 at 4:35 pm.
