On 6 Feb 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole issued
a citation to Ryan C. Furst, age 20, 4295 Leewood Drive, Stow,
OH, for traveling 80 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Stackpole
stopped Mr. Furst on State Route 7 near Briggs Hill Road in
Dunham Township.
On 6 Feb 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole issued
a citation to Nathaniel L. Elder, age 26, 940 Layman Road,
Vincent, for traveling 83 mph in a 50 mph zone. Deputy Stackpole
stopped Mr. Elder on US 50 near Farson Street in Blennerhassett
Township.
On 6 Feb 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole was dispatched
to the scene of a domestic altercation at 1360 Silver Globe
Road, Marietta. During an argument that escalated into a physical
confrontation, Michelle Boyce, age 35, stated her husband Michael,
age 39, slapped her across the face and attempted to cut her
shirt off with a knife. Though her husband denied it, Mrs.
Boyce bore injuries commensurate to her allegations. As a result,
Deputy Stackpole arrested Mr. Boyce for domestic violence and
transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 6 Feb 06 the owner of Isner Trucking, 20850
State Route 550, Marietta, reported when he arrived at work
that morning he noticed between thirty-five and forty-five
brake drums and pads were missing. Hearing of the missing parts,
two employees commented they saw a number of similar items
when they visited the car crusher that morning. With the assistance
of an employee at the car crusher the owner identified the
similar parts as those belonging to his business and the items
were returned to him. Through invoices Deputy Sheriff Stackpole
located the suspect, Gerald R. Erb, age 35, 20 Stacy Orchard
Road, Marietta, who confessed to taking the brake parts without
permission. Accordingly, Deputy Stackpole requested a summons
for Mr. Erb for theft.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Frank Demond Robinson, age 31, 5570 Handel Court, Chesterfield,
PA, for operating without a license, a misdemeanor. Robinson
was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Feb 06 at
2:54 am.
Michael Vernon Boyce, age 39, 1360 Silver Globe Road, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Boyce was arrested at
his residence by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 6 Feb 06 at 8:45 am.
Derrik Ryan McGee, age 22, Caldwell, for breach
of recognizance, a felony. McGee was picked up at the Noble
Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Willson and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 6 Feb 06 at 2:40 pm.
