On 30 Jan 06 Sgt. Hiatt requested a summons
for Megan D. Meeks, age 25, 600 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, for
the theft of $440 from Byer’s Exxon on 25 Jan 06. The
summons alleges Ms. Meeks stole the money from the ATM in the
store while she worked the evening shift.
On 30 Jan 06 an employee of Frontier Health
Care, 1001 Pike Street, Marietta, Reported the business has
received a number of threats of violence from two individuals
she believes are disgruntled former patients. This case remains
under investigation (187).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Aaron Matthew Hess, age 27, 270 Ridgewood Drive Apt. H, Marietta,
for a felony charge of violating the terms of his probation
and a misdemeanor charge of driving under a suspended license.
Hess was arrested on Second Street in Marietta by Patrolman
Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jan 06 at 12:45 am.
Rachel Diane Miller, age 30, 307 Maple Street, Marietta, for
driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Miller was
arrested on Bender Road by Detective Smithberger of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 30 Jan 06 at 12:45 am.
Jason Eugene Barnes, age 29, 7890 Pike Street Apt. 39, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, criminal damaging and
for resisting arrest, all misdemeanors. Barnes was arrested
on Franklin Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 30 Jan 06 at 1:25 am.
Danny Ray McMannis, age 43, 7001 State Route
78, McConnelsville, for violating the terms of his parole,
a felony. McMannis was arrested at the office of Probation
Officer Cook and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 30 Jan 06 at 11:00 am.
Christopher clay Caskin, age 25, 228 Pike Street Apt. A, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Caskin
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Jan 06 at 11:35
am.
