On 28 Jan 06 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes conducted a traffic stop near milepost twenty-one on State Route 60 after noticing an inoperable license plate light on the vehicle he was following. While speaking to the driver, Kyla J. Science, age 22, 2565 Plum Run Road, Waterford, Deputy Rhodes noticed an odor of alcohol and requested she perform field sobriety tests. Following Ms. Science’s confession of consuming several beers and her poor performance on field sobriety tests, Deputy Rhodes arrested her for OVI and for having an inoperable license plate light and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

On 28 Jan 06 Kristiane Valentine, age 22, 55 Dugan Road, Belpre, reported when she and her husband returned to their unlocked home after being away for several hours their kitchen table and living room furniture were overturned. At this time no property appears to be missing from the home. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 28 Jan 06 Brad Henthorne, age 21, 161 Turner Road, Belpre, reported as he slept, his former girlfriend and three of her friends allegedly entered his home without permission through an unlocked back door. The quartet proceeded to the bedroom where two of the females began punching Mr. Henthorne. Along with three of his visiting friends Mr. Henthorne corralled the four women out of the home. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 28 Jan 06 Shannon Lannigan, age 34, 103 Shady Lane, Marietta, reported while he was away from his residence with his children for five hours beginning that morning, his prescription medications for Xanax and methadone were stolen. This case remains under investigation (1184).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Tony Lee McMannis, age 44, 7001 State Route 78, McConnelsville, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. McMannis was arrested on State Route 60 by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jan 06 at 1:27 am.

Jay David Camp, age 31, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Camp was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jan 06 at 2:54 am.

Michael Allen Caneen, age 19, 37175 Mound Street, Sardis, OH, for underage consumption of alcohol for disorderly conduct by intoxication, both misdemeanors. Caneen was arrested on Butler Street in Marietta by Officer Bosworth of the Marietta College Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jan 06 at 4:05 am.

Kyla Jean Science, age 22, 2565 Plum Run Road, Waterford, for OVI and for having an inoperable license plate light, both misdemeanors. Science was arrested on State Route 60 by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jan 06 at 4:45 am.

Michael Vincent Bambrick, age 18, 470 Wilson Court, Sagamore Hills, OH, for assault and resisting arrest, both misdemeanors. Bambrick was arrested on Butler Street in Marietta by Officer Moon of the Marietta College Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jan 06 at 7:00 pm.

Clinton Dallas Hornbeck, age 29, 2100 Tenth Avenue, Parkersburg, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Hornbeck was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Davis of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Jan 06 at 11:50 pm.
