On 23 Jan 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks issued a
citation to Terri L. McGoye, age 38, 90 Barnett South Road,
Vincent, for traveling 59 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy Parks
stopped Ms. McGoye at the intersection of Wynnwood Drive and
State Route 550 in Warren Township.
On 23 Jan 06 an employee of Washington Electric,
406 Colegate Drive, Marietta, reported a meter socket, disconnect
box and meter were stolen while the power was on, from a location
near milepost 17.5 on State Route 550. This case remains under
investigation (1090).
On 23 Jan 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks issued a
citation to Adam R. Hall, age 22, 666 Winkler Drive, Wooster,
OH, for traveling 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy Parks stopped
Mr. Hall at the intersection of Wynnwood Drive and State Route
550 in Warren Township.
On 23 Jan 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks issued a
citation to Jennifer R. Armes, age 18, 36780 New Hope Road,
Long Bottom, for traveling 61 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy
Parks stopped Ms. Armes at the intersection of Wynnwood Drive
and State Route 550 in Warren Township.
On 23 Jan 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks issued a
citation to Christina M. Hower, age 21, 15870 State Route 550,
Fleming, for traveling 59 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy Parks
stopped Ms. Hower at the intersection of Wynnwood Drive and
State Route 550 in Warren Township.
On 23 Jan 06 Alan M. Blavos, age 18, 7 Ashmore
Circle, Davisville, WV, reported while he was visiting friends
on Camelot Road an ex-girlfriend allegedly smeared ranch dressing
and mayonnaise on his truck. This case remains under investigation
(695).
On 23 Jan 06 an employee of Byer’s Exxon,
26960 State Route 7, Marietta, reported the driver of a blue
station wagon drove off without paying for $25.41 in gasoline.
The suspect, Jason H. Malone, age 28, 1210 Colonial Drive,
Marietta, was later located by Sgt. Gherke and positively identified
by the store’s clerk as the perpetrator. Accordingly,
Mr. Malone was issued a summons to appear in court for theft.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jimmy Rymer Higgins, age 32, 55 Maple Street,
Newport, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Higgins was arrested at his residence
by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Jan 06
at 11:20 am.
Michael Glenn Hundall, age 29, 3688 Hebbardsville Road, Athens,
for driving under an OVI suspended license, a misdemeanor.
Hundall was arrested in Waterford by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23
Jan 06 at 5:39 pm.
Angela Jo Armstrong, age 42, 212 Maple Street, Marietta, for
disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Armstrong
was arrested at the Four Seasons in Marietta by Patrolman Nedeff
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 23 Jan 06 at 7:51 pm.
Scott Lee Carpenter, age 43, 1802 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna,
for littering, OVI, driving under an FRA suspended license,
driving left of center and for not wearing a seat belt, all
misdemeanors. Carpenter turned himself in to Lt. Ketelsen and
was processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Jan 06
at 8:38 pm.
