On 17 Jan 06 an employee of RJF, 700 BF Goodrich
Road, Marietta, reported two metric scales were stolen from
the company sometime since the beginning of December. This
case remains under investigation (698).
On 17 Jan 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole issued
a citation to Benjamin A. Miller, age 25, 33460 Neff Ridge
Road, Wingett Run, for failure to register. Deputy Stackpole
stopped Mr. Miller near the intersection of Gun Club Road and
State Route 821 in Muskingum Township.
On 17 Jan 06 Sgt. Hiatt issued a citation
to Edward L. Anthony, age 21, 45037 Ludolph Ridge Road, New
Matamoras, for driving under a suspended license and for failure
to register. Sgt. Hiatt stopped Mr. Anthony on State Route
7 near Miller’s Lane in Marietta Township.
On 17 Jan 06 Brian Stark, age 24, 128 Sharon
Street, Marietta, reported some time during the past two weeks
an unknown suspect(s) stole his Kawasaki Bayou ATV from his
mother’s property on Cornerville Road. This case remains
under investigation (296).
On 17 Jan 06 James Black, age 62, 632 Lovers
Lane, Beverly, reported finding miscellaneous bills and papers
dumped along with other trash near the .1 mile marker on Lovers
Lane. This case remains under investigation.
On 17 Jan 06 Joyce Radabaugh, age 54, 50 Second
Street, Vincent, reported she has not been able to locate her
gold Seiko watch since November of last year and believes it
was stolen. This case remains under investigation (586).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Travis Lloyd Cunningham, age 21, 486 Fairview Avenue Apt.
2, Nelsonville, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Cunningham was picked up at
the Athens County line by Deputy Sheriff Spencer and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 17 Jan 06 at 1:05 am.
Joshua Thomas Bailey, age 20, 83 Watson Lane, Belpre, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines,
a misdemeanor. Bailey was arrested at Colonial Terrace by Deputy
Sheriff Coppernoll and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 17 Jan 06 at 8:20 am.
Roger Dale Logston, age 32, 500 13th Street,
Parkersburg, for failure to appear and breach of recognizance,
both felonies. Logston was picked up at the Southwest Regional
Jail by Deputy Sheriff Willson and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 17 Jan 06 at 3:05 pm.
Jesse Aaron Anderson, age 22, 138 Franklin Street, Marietta,
for a felony charge of violating the terms of his probation
and misdemeanor charges of driving under a suspended license,
failure to control and for having an invalid license plate.
Anderson turned himself in to Corrections Officer Farrell and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Jan 06 at 3:10
pm.
Loring Daniel Stevens, age 31, 1348 East View Heights Road,
Grandview, OH, for aggravated vehicular homicide, a misdemeanor.
Stevens was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institute by
Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 17 Jan 06 at 6:01 pm.
Joseph Benjamin Mayle, age 21, Caldwell, for domestic violence,
a felony. Mayle was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institute
by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 17 Jan 06 at 6:31 pm.
Aaron Freeman Farnsworth, age 20, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta,
for breach of recognizance, a felony. Farnsworth was picked
up at the Noble Correctional Institute by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Jan 06
at 6:41 pm.
