On 7 Jan 06 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to
Josiah K. Dalton, age 19, 257 Daisy Drive, Parkersburg, for
failure to register his vehicle. Lt. Wilson stopped Mr. Dalton
on Main Street near Front Street in Marietta.
On 7 Jan 06 Deputy Sheriff Malone investigated
a domestic violence complaint reported by Amber Wesley, age
19, 4136 Sparling Road, Waterford. Ms. Wesley stated her and
her live-in boyfriend of one year, Noal Quattlebaum, age 19,
were involved in an argument when Mr. Quattlebaum began screaming
and punching a door. During that time Mr. Quattlebaum also
exclaimed if she was a man he would drop her like a rock, placing
Ms. Wesley in fear for her safety. As a result, Deputy Malone
arrested Mr. Quattlebaum for domestic violence and transported
him to the Washington County Jail.
On 7 Jan 06 Sgt. Hiatt along with Deputy Sheriffs
Mankins and Norman were dispatched to the scene of a party
where an anonymous source reported underage individuals were
consuming alcohol. While at the location, a half mile off Sandhill
Road, the Deputies observed two vehicles leaving the driveway
and questioned the occupants. A seventeen year old passenger
in a Chevy Cavalier admitted consuming alcohol at the party
and was issued a summons to appear in Juvenile Court. Jeffrey
R. Winland, age 20, 1653 Jonestown Road, St Marys, a passenger
in another vehicle, was arrested for underage consumption and
transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 7 Jan 06 Sgt. Underwood issued a citation
to John G. Williams, age 45, 302 Putnam Avenue, Marietta, for
failure to register his vehicle. Sgt. Underwood stopped Mr.
Williams on Putnam near Front Street in Marietta.
On 7 Jan 06, while en route to an incident
with his emergency equipment activated, Lt. Wilson encountered
a vehicle traveling 30 mph on State Route 60. The driver of
the vehicle failed to yield to Lt. Wilson’s emergency
lights for a short distance and subsequently stopped near milepost
nine by an approaching cruiser driven by Deputy Sheriff Evans.
Detecting an odor of alcohol on the driver, Deputy Evans administered
field sobriety tests on John E. Coleman, age 22, 11 Market
Street, Lowell. Following his poor performance on the tests,
Mr. Coleman was arrested for OVI and for failing to obey the
right of way and transported to the Washington County Jail.

were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Alex John Schilling, age 21, 2779 Waterford
Road, Marietta, for OVI and for reckless operation, both misdemeanors.
Schilling was arrested on Waterford Road by the Ohio State
Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 7 Jan 06 at 3:05 am.
John Eugene Coleman, age 22, 11 Market Street, Lowell, for
OVI and for failing to obey the right of way, both misdemeanors.
Coleman was arrested at State Route 60 by Deputy Sheriff Evans
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Jan 06 at
3:25 am.
Shawn Patrick Stevens, age 22, 2859 13th Avenue, Columbus,
for two felony counts of possession of drugs and for misdemeanor
charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Stevens was arrested on State Route 60 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Jan
06 at 5:30 am.
Robert H. Smith, age 47, 3452 State Route 37, Malta, for a
felony charge of possession of drugs and two misdemeanor counts
of possession of drugs. Smith was arrested on State Route 60
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 7 Jan 06 at 6:00 am.
Noal Damiona Quattlebaum, age 19, 2901 Wells Road, Waterford,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Quattlebaum was arrested
on Sparling Road by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 7 Jan 06 at 6:18 pm.
