On 2 Jan 06 Justin M. Moran, age 18, 2810 State Route 555, Little Hocking, reported being assaulted on 31 Dec 05. Mr. Moran stated he spilled a soft drink on himself as he traveled along State Route 555 an inadvertently swerved off the road near Irvine Camper Sales. Mr. Moran reversed his travel to speak with the owner whose grass he ran through and was greeted by the man with a barrage of obscenities. After the property owner punched him in the face Mr. Moran left the scene without further incident. This case remains under investigation (695).

On 2 Jan 06 Kimberly A. Burke, age 64, 17949 State Route 550, Marietta, reported she believes when a family member visited her home four days ago she stole approximately twenty-five of her hydrocodone pills. This case remains under investigation (695).

On 2 Jan 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks issued a citation to Anthony E. Dunfee, age 29, 2123 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell, for traveling 62 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy Parks stopped Mr. Dunfee on State Route 550 near Wynncrest Drive in Warren Township.

On 2 Jan 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks issued a citation to Timothy L. Traxler, age 62, 15166 Hooper Road, Millfield, OH, for traveling 65 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy Parks stopped Mr. Traxler on State Route 550 near Warren Elementary School in Warren Township.

On 2 Jan 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks issued a citation to Deborah A. Murphy, age 48, 16990 Joy Road, Chesterhill, for traveling 61 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy Parks stopped Ms. Murphy on State Route 550 near Wynncrest Drive in Warren Township.

On 2 Jan 06 Deputy Sheriff Parks issued a citation to Geoffrey M. Bleichner, age 24, 11200 Bent Creek Terrace, Germantown, OH, for traveling 59 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy Parks stopped Mr. Bleichner on State Route 550 near Wynncrest Drive in Warren Township.
