On 31 Dec 05 Sgt. Underwood issued a citation to Kathy L. Jones, age 38, 10 Second Street, Vincent, for failure to register. Sgt. Underwood stopped Ms. Jones on State Route 7 near Blue Knob Road in Warren Township.

On 31 Dec 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans conducted a traffic stop on Chamberlain Drive after observing a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit on State Route 60. Detecting an odor of alcohol, Deputy Evans asked the driver, Rachel Leopold, age 22, 800 Front Street Apt. A, Marietta, if she consumed any alcohol that evening. Ms. Leopold replied three or four drinks and consented to performing field sobriety tests. Following her poor performance on the tests, Ms. Leopold was arrested for OVI and transported to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jennifer Suesette Ingram, age 26, 709 Third Street, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Ingram was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Smeeks of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Dec 05 at 12:38 am.

Rachel Leopold, age 22, 800 Front Street Apt. A, Marietta, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Leopold was arrested in Devola by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Dec 05 at 3:40 am.

Larry Joe Richards, age 30, PO Box 52, Williamstown, for OVI, speeding and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Richards was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Dec 05 at 1:30 pm.

James Edward Corbitt III, age 28, 710 Bender Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Corbitt was arrested on Bender Road by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Dec 05 at 8:35 pm.
