On 30 Dec 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a
citation to Richard L. Camden, age 30, 182 Tennis Center Drive
Apt. 11, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license.
Deputy Evans stopped Mr. Camden on Pike Street near Ellsworth
Drive in Marietta Township.
On 30 Dec 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans conducted
a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Ryan A. Winebrenner,
age 20, 15685 Waterford Road, Waterford, after observing Mr.
Winebrenner fail to stop when turning from Fourth Street onto
State Route 339 in Waterford. Through a validation check Deputy
Evans concluded Mr. Winebrenner did not have a valid operator’s
license and located a marijuana pipe on Mr. Winebrenner while
placing him under arrest. Charged with driving under a suspended
license, failure to obey a traffic control device and possession
of drug paraphernalia, Mr. Winebrenner was then transported
to the Washington County Jail.
On 30 Dec 05 Brian M. Anderson, age 34, 714
Anderson Road, Fleming, struck a deer as he traveled northbound
on State Route 7 near Gravel Bank Road. Mr. Anderson reported
no injuries; his vehicle sustained functional damage.
On 30 Dec 05 Cheyenne Bolden, age 48, 5170
Germantown Road, Lower Salem, reported when he returned home
from being in Marietta for three hours his 1971 Buick Skylark
was missing from his driveway. This case remains under investigation
(292).
On 30 Dec 05 Deputy Sheriff Eddy responded
to the scene of the death of a sixty-three year old Fleming
resident. The man’s death appears to be natural; no foul
play is suspected.
On 30 Dec 05 the individual caring for the
animals at the residence of Mary A. Janes, age 58, 1121 County
House Lane, Marietta, reported when she arrived at the residence
that morning she noticed items out of place as well as an open
window of an upstairs bedroom. It is unknown at this time if
any items are missing. This case remains under investigation
(1184).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Michael Kevin Joyce, age 48, 302 Clark Drive, Marietta, for
OVI, driving left of center and for not wearing a seat belt,
all misdemeanors. Joyce was arrested at the intersection of
Pike and Acme Streets by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Dec 05 at 2:15
am.
Ryan Allen Winebrenner, age 20, 15685 Waterford Road, Waterford,
for failure to reinstate his operator’s license, failure
to obey a traffic control device and for possession of drug
paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Winebrenner was arrested on
State Route 339 by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 30 Dec 05 at 3:40 am.
Jonas Wyatt Miller, age 23, 76 Hazelwood Road,
Marietta, for felony charges of breach of recognizance and
failure to appear and for misdemeanor charges of failure to
appear and driving under an FRA suspended license. Miller was
picked up in Montgomery County by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Dec 05
at 3:45 pm.
Carl Adrian Huggins, age 45, 201 Grandview Avenue, Mingo Junction,
OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Huggins was arrested on Interstate 77
by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 30 Dec 05 at 5:30 pm.
Jesse Scott Books, age 23, 909 Phillips Street, Marietta,
for assault, nonsupport of dependants and for five counts of
contempt of a court order, all misdemeanors. Books was arrested
in Marietta by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
30 Dec 05 at 6:55 pm.
Beaufort D. Pogue III, age 47, 22050 Wilmore Street, Euclid,
OH, for OVI and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Pogue was
arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 30 Dec 05
at 6:55 pm.
