On 24 Dec 05 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Charles K. Banks, age 62, 3835 North Ninth Street
Apt. 305, Arlington, VA, for traveling 84 mph in a 60 mph zone.
Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Banks on US 50 in Belpre Township.
On 24 Dec 05 Deputy Sheriff Parks responded
to the scene of the death of an eighty-two year old Marietta
resident. The woman’s death appears to be natural; no
foul play is suspected.
On 24 Dec 05 Leanne S. Delancey, age 47, 100
Morningside Drive, Marietta, reported a seven month old Shetland
Sheepdog was stolen from her fenced in yard 8 pm and 9:30 pm
that evening. This case remains under investigation (232).
On 24 Dec 05 Harley E. Wilson, age 27, 435
Calder Ridge Road, Belpre, reported his estranged wife Mary
Beth, age 25, against whom he has a protection order, entered
his home without permission to obtain several of her belongings
and instigated an argument over the visitation of their child.
Deputy Sheriff Mankins located Mrs. Wilson changing a flat
tire along State Route 7 and observed the items taken from
her husband’s residence in the back of her vehicle. As
a result, Deputy Mankins arrested Mrs. Wilson for violating
the terms of a protection order and transported her to the
Washington County Jail.
On 24 Dec 05 Gary Rose, age 56, 15293 State
Route 555, Cutler, reported while he spent several days in
Indianapolis a family member may have stolen a large quantity
of his prescription medication. This case remains under investigation
(586).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
James Robert Rodes, age 27, 900 ½ Linden
Street, Parkersburg, for failure to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Rodes was arrested
on State Route 7 in Belpre by Patrolman Davis of the Belpre
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 24 Dec 05 at 1:45 am.
Mary Beth Wilson, age 25, 435 Calder Ridge Road, Belpre, for
two misdemeanor counts of violating the terms of a protection
order. Wilson was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff
Stackpole and processed into the Washington County Jail on
24 Dec 05 at 12:43 pm.
Mark Eugene Perrine, age 24, Marietta, for driving under a
suspended license, for operating a vehicle without license
plates and for operating without or with an expired license,
all misdemeanors. Perrine was arrested on Fort Harmar Drive
in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 24 Dec 05 at 5:29 pm.
Paul Samuel Pasco, age 43, 816 ½ Third Street, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Pasco was arrested on
Front Street in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 24 Dec 05 at 11:30 pm.
