On 21 Dec 05 Kathy M. Lough, age 56, 19815
State Route 676, Marietta, reported between 10:30 pm and 1:30
am that evening an unknown suspect(s) entered her garage and
stole a Firestorm rechargeable combination kit. This case remains
under investigation (232).
On 21 Dec 05 Amanda J. Sampe, age 25, 217
Fourth Street, Lowell, reported her estranged husband Phillip,
age 25, 1301 Bird Street, Parkersburg, telephoned her and threatened
to shoot her because her children did not deserve her as a
mother. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Evans requested a summons
for Mr. Sampe because the communication violated the terms
of a protection order Ms. Sampe has against her husband.
On 21 Dec 05 Deputy Sheriff Parks conducted
a traffic stop on State Route 550 in Barlow for multiple violations.
Speaking with the occupants, Deputy Parks noticed a smoking
pipe in a purse belonging to Bethani A. Woods, age 28, 734
Lancaster Street, Marietta. Asked if any other drugs were present
in the car, Mrs. Woods replied the backseat passenger, Gregory
J. Michael, age 26, 304 Elm Street, Marietta, recently purchased
a bag of marijuana, which Mr. Michael turned over to Deputy
Parks. Mr. Michael stated the metal smoking pipe was his and
that Mrs. Woods also possessed a baggy of marijuana and a smoking
pipe. In consequence, Deputy Parks arrested Mrs. Woods and
Mr. Michael for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession
of drugs and transported them to the Washington County Jail.

Jesse A. Anderson, age 22, 138 Franklin Street,
Marietta, for driving under a suspended license, failure to
control and for using unauthorized plates on 17 Sep 05.
Christopher E. Barnes, age 23, 43221 Cooper Foster Road, Lorain,
OH, for possession of less than 100 grams of marijuana on 7
Dec 05.
Jewel D. Cameron, age 51, 1249 Coventry Road, Akron, for possession
of less than 100 grams of marijuana on 22 Sep 05.
Johnny L. Emerick, age 42, 122 Elmwood Avenue, Marietta, for
resisting arrest on 14 Sep 05.
Everett C. Freeland, age 21, 2116 Windy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for the theft of a tire and wheel from Veto Motors on 1 Mar
05.
Davis S. McKee, age 29, 207N Algonquin Avenue, Columbus, for
driving under a suspended license on 5 Nov 05 and for breach
of recognizance for failing to appear in court on 18 Nov 05.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jimmy Lee Smith, age 38, 255 Highland Ridge
Road, Lowell, for driving under an FRA suspended license, a
misdemeanor. Smith was arrested on Interstate 77 by Deputy
Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 21 Dec 05 at 1:15 am.
Gregory James Michael, age 26, 304 Elm Street,
Marietta, for possession of drugs and for possession of drug
paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Michael was arrested on Warrior
Drive in Barlow by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 21 Dec 05 at 8:03 pm.
Bethani Ann Woods, age 28, 734 Lancaster Street, Marietta,
for possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia,
both misdemeanors. Woods was arrested on Warrior Drive in Barlow
by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 21 Dec 05 at 8:03 pm.
