On 7 Dec 05 Detective Jenkins issued a citation to Amanda Mayle, age 19, 2945 Roberts Road, Amesville, for driving under a suspended license. Detective Jenkins stopped Ms. Mayle after observing her vehicle travel left of center on State Route 555 near State Route 550 in Wesley Township.

On 7 Dec 05 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Michael L. Ward, age 20, 115 North Hart Street Apt. 9, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license. Lt. Wilson stopped Mr. Ward after observing him fail to signal when turning from Washington onto North Hart Street in Marietta.

On 7 Dec 05 Major Winstanley and Lt. Wilson conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Interstate 77 for having windows tinted so dark they could not see inside. Asking the driver if there were any drugs in the vehicle, Christopher E. Barnes, age 22, 43221 Cooper Foster Road, Lorain, OH, replied there were and granted permission to search the vehicle. Once Lt. Wilson located two marijuana cigarettes, he issued a citation to Mr. Barnes for possession of marijuana.

On 7 Dec 05 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Amy L. Rake, age 25, 29460 Sawyer Run Road, Little Hocking, for driving under an OVI suspended license. Lt. Wilson initially stopped Ms. Rake for having a loud exhaust and a broken windshield on US 50 near Farson Street in Belpre. Though she was granted privileges to drive to work by the court, Ms. Rake admitted not working prior to being stopped by Lt. Wilson.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrant:

William T. Reed, age 46, 600 Bramblewood Heights Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show proof of paying his taxes or to appear to serve ten days in jail on 20 Nov 05.
