On 1 Dec 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans investigated the theft of a Remington 1100 shotgun from a vehicle owned by Robert Edgar, age 50, 55 Turkey Knob Road, Newport, and a Winchester 30-30 from a Chevy S-10 owned by Jeffrey Binegar, age 46, 355 Danas Run Road, Newport.

On 1 Dec 05 Audrey J. Stone, age 84, 9050 Dalzell Road, Lower Salem, reported stolen, a gold and jade ring and a diamond solitaire ring with clusters, both of which she put in her jewelry box a day ago. This case remains under investigation (500).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Willis V. Thompson, age 29, 155 Sunset Street, Marietta, for failing to appear to serve seven days in jail on 13 Nov 05.

Eric B. Dickinson, age 43, 310 South Hague Street, Columbus, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 14 Nov 05.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Garry Lee Mackey, age 40, 706 Neal Street, Parkersburg, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Mackey was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Morris of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Dec 05 at 9:20 am.

Lou Ann Baker, age 38, Camelot Drive Lot 6, Belpre, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Baker was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Gilchrist and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Dec 05 at 12:30 pm.
