On 29 Nov 05 Cody L. Sturdevant, age 18, 45
Hickory Drive, Little Hocking, reported at some point during
the last two days his Pioneer CD player was stolen from inside
his vehicle. This case remains under investigation (1203).
On 29 Nov 05 Jeffrey Binegar, age 41, 810
Indian Run Road, Marietta, reported over an eleven day span
at the beginning of September, a High Point 9 mm and a Ruger
.22 caliber pistol were stolen from a locked gun cabinet in
his basement. This case remains under investigation (945).
On 29 Nov 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans answered
a distress call at 5040 Germantown Road, Lower Salem. Brenda
Travis, age 43, informed Deputy Evans that her husband Neal,
age 44, and their fifteen year old son were arguing over their
son’s failure to complete his chores. Mr. Travis then
grabbed his son’s shirt and shoved him against the door,
prompting Mrs. Travis to intervene. A short argument ensued
and tempers subsided. Determining no act of domestic violence
occurred, Deputy Evans requested a summons for Mr. Travis for
disorderly conduct.
On 29 Nov 05 Deputy Sheriff Parks investigated
a single vehicle crash that occurred on a private driveway
at 325 Forshey Road, Marietta. Autumn L. Joseph, age 27, stated
she was unable to stop her vehicle and collided with a large
tree that fell in front of her as she drove up her driveway.
Ms. Joseph reported no injuries; her vehicle sustained disabling
damage and was towed from the scene.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Aaron Robert Fulton, age 19, 214 Wooster Street,
Marietta, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. Fulton
was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 29 Nov 05 at 12:35 am.
Michael Leland Luffman, age 19, 108 Deerhaven
Avenue, Reno, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony.
Luffman was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Parks
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Nov 05
at 3:15 pm.
