On 26 Nov 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a
citation to Zachary R. Ruppel, age 19, 52836 State Route 147,
Sarahsville, OH, for traveling 76 mph in a 50 mph zone. Deputy
Evans stopped Mr. Ruppel on US 50 at Braun Road in Belpre Township.
On 26 Nov 05 Deputy Sheriff Norman was dispatched
to the scene of a domestic dispute at 11525 Dalzell Road, Lower
Salem. Tonya Evans, age 32, stated her husband Ronald, age
36, was drinking and initiated an argument as soon as she returned
home from work, accusing her of flirting with male customers.
Mrs. Evans sat in a chair at the kitchen table as her husband’s
tirade continued, ending after he twice kicked the table into
his wife. Attempting to phone for help, Mrs. Evans’ effort
was thwarted as her husband cut the phone lines inside and
outside their home before fleeing the scene. Deputy Norman
later located Mr. Evans at his sister’s residence, arrested
him for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington
County Jail.
On 26 Nov 05 David L. Burt, age 43, 17891
State Route 339, Waterford, reported at approximately 10 pm
the previous evening, a white Geo Tracker got stuck in the
mud on a road at his farm at 3800 Creek Road despite the entry
for the road being clearly marked “no trespassing.” Speaking
with the driver of the vehicle and feeling he learned his lesson,
Mr. Burt declined to pursue the matter further (1203).
On 26 Nov 05 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to a seventeen year old Lowell resident for traveling
left of center. Deputy Mankins stopped the juvenile on State
Route 60 near McDonald’s in Waterford Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Romen Vandall, age 22, 124 Knox Street, Marietta,
for failure to reinstate his operator’s license, a misdemeanor.
Vandall was arrested in Vincent by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 05 at 12:35
am.
Karen Nicole Statkiewicz, age 24, 945 Windy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle and for operating
under a permit without a licensed driver, both misdemeanors.
Statkiewicz was arrested in Vincent by Deputy Sheriff Mankins
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 05
at 1:05 am.
Tony Leon Brookover, age 39, 2700 Pike Street, Parkersburg,
for a felony charge of OVI and a misdemeanor charge of driving
under an FRA suspended license. Brookover was arrested on State
Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 05 at 2:34 am.
Ronald Eugene Evans, age 36, 11525 Dalzell Road, Lower Salem,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Evans was arrested on
Pearl Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Norman and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 05 at 8:00 pm.
