On 23 Nov 05 Sgt. Underwood issued a citation to Seth Detorre, age 22, 11 High Street, Marietta, for failure to register for operating a vehicle with tags that expired in April of this year. Sgt. Underwood stopped Mr. Detorre on Gilman Avenue near Grove Avenue in Marietta.

On 23 Nov 05 Ruth Kehl, age 80, 101 Brant Drive, Marietta, reported a lighted deer decoration was stolen from her yard during the evening’s overnight hours. Ms. Ruther later located the item in the landscaping of a home on Sandhill Road (1020).

On 23 Nov 05 Deputy Sheriff McLeish investigated a two vehicle collision involving a Ford truck driven by Chad D. Coffman, age 29, 566 Elk Run Road, Beverly, and a Mazda sedan driven by Gregory Shumaker, age 28, 13307 Arlington Road, Norwalk, OH. Mr. Coffman was turning from State Route 339 onto Elk Run Road when he encountered a patch of ice, causing his truck to slide into Mr. Shumaker’s oncoming vehicle. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage; no injuries were reported.
