On 20 Nov 05 a thirty-seven year old Marietta
resident reported being punched in the eye by his sixteen
year old stepson. He stated the juvenile was being uncooperative
and disrespectful toward his mother and when he attempted to
intervene the juvenile punched him. When questioned the juvenile
admitted striking his stepfather, was arrested for being delinquent
and transported to the Washington County Juvenile Center (1091,
1203).
On 20 Nov 05, while assisting the Highway
Patrol with a traffic stop, Deputy Sheriff Parks attempted
to convince the vehicle’s passenger Kelly M. Myers, age
30, 106 ½ Sacra Via, Marietta, to call a taxi for a
ride home due to her intoxicated state and the low ambient
temperature. When Ms. Myers did not acquiesce after a half
hour of encouragement, Deputy Parks arrested her for disorderly
conduct by intoxication and transported her to the Washington
County Jail.
On 20 Nov 05 Charleton Brown, age 51, 221
Robinson Hill Road, Marietta, reported when he and his wife
returned home from seven hours of bowling that evening, they
noticed approximately $275 in cash missing from various locations
throughout their home. This case remains under investigation
(586).
On 20 Nov 05 a seventeen year old Belpre resident
reported when he attempted to intervene in a heated discussion
between to other individuals, one of the men struck him in
the face three times. This case remains under investigation
(586).
On 20 Nov 05 Steven Osborne, age 31, 529 Federal
Road, Little Hocking, reported he has not seen or heard from
his ex-wife, with whom he shares his residence, since 10:30
the previous evening. Mrs. Osborne was later located sleeping,
of her own volition, in the trunk of her car (586).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Dedre Dannielle Dalton, age 18, 2434 Collis
Avenue, Huntington, for disorderly conduct by intoxication,
a misdemeanor. Dalton was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman
Titus of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 20 Nov 05 at 2:29 am.
Christopher Lee Goss, age 21, 819 Ridge Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Goss
was arrested on Ridge Street in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 20 Nov 05 at 2:56 am.
Brent Allen Carpenter, age 29, 814 Corey Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, for OVI and for driving
under an OVI suspended license, all misdemeanors. Carpenter
was arrested in Marietta by Probation Officer Hamilton and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Nov 05 at 3:20
am.
Kelly Marie Myers, age 30, 106 ½ Sacra Via, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Myers
was arrested in Macksburg by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 20 Nov 05 at 3:53 am.
Mark Farris, age 30, Route 2 Box 72, Fort Gay, WV, for driving
under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Farris was arrested
on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 20 Nov 05 at 10:15 pm.
James George Harmon, age 58, 2716 Underwood Drive, Belpre,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Harmon was arrested at
his residence by Patrolman Fields of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
20 Nov 05 at 11:43 pm.
