On 8 Nov 05 Detective Schuck issued a citation
to Travis J. Sparks, age 22, 648 Phillips Street, Marietta,
for driving under an FRA suspended license. Detective Schuck
stopped Mr. Sparks on Putnam Street near Front Street in Marietta.
On 8 Nov 05 an employee of Warren Elementary
School reported finding a fifteen year old student in possession
of a marijuana pipe. When questioned by Sgt. Hiatt, the teenager
admitted being in possession of the pipe he found the day before.
Therefore Sgt. Hiatt requested a summons for the juvenile to
appear in court for being delinquent.
On 8 Nov 05 Chris Shinn, age 24, 106 Walnut
Ridge Road, Little Hocking, reported his former contractor,
with whom he is engaged in a dispute and whom he relieved of
his services, allegedly dumped a large pile of debris in his
driveway while he was at work during the day. This case remains
under investigation (597).
On 8 Nov 05 Robert G. Heiss, age 68, 364 Arends
Ridge Road, Marietta, reported within the last thirty days
a substantial sum of money was stolen from a barrel in his
kitchen that he uses to store his loose change. This case remains
under investigation (1091).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Frankie Estep, age 40, 1935 Broadway Street,
Stockport, for a felony charge of OVI and misdemeanor charges
of possession
of drugs, driving under a suspended license, driving left of
center and resisting arrest. Estep was arrested in Wesley Township
by Detective Jenkins of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Nov
05 at 2:58 am.
Charles Edward Thompson, age 38, 707 Phillips
Street, Marietta, for felony charges of possession of drugs
and illegally conveying items into a detention facility. Thompson
was arrested at the County Courthouse by Detective Wright of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 8 Nov 05 at 9:30 am.
Jack Edward Lilliock, age 24, 1713 Realty Avenue, Pittsburgh,
PA, for possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia
and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Lilliock
was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Nov 05 at
3:50 pm.
Aaron Matthew Hess, age 26, 610 Warren Street, Marietta, for
violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Hess was arrested
at the Adult Probation Office by Lt. Ketelsen of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 8 Nov 05 at 5:00 pm.
Donald Allan Mizell, age 36, 1309 Sinclair Avenue, Steubenville,
OH, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Mizell was picked up in Jefferson County by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 8 Nov 05 at 7:50 pm.
Jason Homer Malone, age 27, 6615 Cleveland Road Lot 11, Ravenna,
OH, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Malone was picked up in Portage County by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Nov 05 at
8:00 pm.
