On 1 Nov 05 Catherine Ritchie, age 43, 19560 State Route 550, Marietta, reported between midnight and 7 that morning an unknown suspect(s) entered her unlocked Jeep Wrangler and stole her wallet containing numerous credit and identification cards and five dollars in cash. This case remains under investigation (945).

On 1 Nov 05 Hugh A. Rolls, age 65, 1022 Pike Street, Marietta, reported between 3 Oct and 21 Oct an unknown suspect(s) picked the lock to his storage shed at 370 County House Lane and stole four saws of varying purposes. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 1 Nov 05 an employee of Warren High School, 130 Warrior Drive, Vincent, reported two students working in the cafeteria allegedly stole twenty-eight dollars from a cash drawer. This case remains under investigation (690).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Michael A. Cartell, age 35, 44491 County Road 56, Caldwell, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 18 Oct 05.

Gerald L. Miller, age 38, 523 Dennison Avenue, Akron, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $553.15.

Matthew S. Nixon, age 23, 26115 State Route 7, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license on 27 Aug 05.

The following individual was processed into the Washington County Jail:

Zachariah Leroy Mugrage, age 18, 101 Theiss Avenue Lot 19, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Mugrage was arrested at Marietta High School by Probation Officer Linscott and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Nov 05 at 9:35 am.
