On 31 Oct 05 Amanda Sampe, age 25, 217 Fourth
Street, Lowell, reported while her husband was at her residence
to retrieve his belongings he allegedly threatened and pushed
her. Citing inconsistencies in Ms. Sampe’s statement
with those of witnesses, Deputy Sheriff Norman closed this
case as unfounded.
On 31 Oct 05 Richard D. Bay, age 38, 301 Oakwood
Street, Marietta, reported an individual to whom he granted
permission to cash his social security checks in the past allegedly
cashed his most recent check and left the state with the proceeds.
This case remains under investigation (1203).
On 31 Oct 05 an employee of the Stonebridge
Operating Company, 1635 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta, reported
a residential gas meter was stolen from a home at 3977 State
Route 555 in Little Hocking sometime since the first week of
September. This case remains under investigation (1203).
On 31 Oct 05 Tammi R. Drake, age 30, 112 Marshall
Court, Parkersburg, reported when she viewed her credit report
she noticed two open accounts she did not recognize. The accounts,
one for a cellular phone and the other for Allegheny Power,
were opened using her personal information and billed to an
address in Little Hocking. This case remains under investigation
(305).

Michael D. Cross, age 35, 1422 Hartford Avenue,
Akron, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $326.30.
Craig Curtis, age 48, 3054 Allegheny Avenue Apt. B, Columbus,
for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $523.90.
Edna E. Hanes, age 27, 1702 Spring Street, Parkersburg, for
contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines in the sum of $528.90.
Julie Hupp, age 28, 27400 State Route 7 Lot 64, Marietta,
for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $80.60.
David C. MacClymont Jr., age 37, 111 West Montgomery Street,
Marietta, for possession of marijuana on 2 Sep 05.
Lorena A. Smith, age 27, 2409 Hanvey Avenue, Belpre, for driving
under a suspended license on 11 Sep 05 and for breach of recognizance
on 21 Oct 05.

The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Robert Blaine Truelove, age 34, 1311 Hoover
Place NW, Canton, for driving under an FRA suspended license
and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Truelove was arrested
on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 31 Oct 05 at 5:40 am.
Charles Arthur Hughes III, age 24, 610 Vine
Street, Coshocton, for violating the terms of his probation,
for obstructing official business, for theft and for two counts
of breach of recognizance, all misdemeanors. Hughes was picked
up in Coshocton by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 31 Oct 05 at 2:50 pm.
