On 25 Oct 05 an employee of B&J Carryout,
38676 State Route 7, Newport, reported the driver of a white
Ford sedan drove off without paying for $30 in gasoline. This
case remains under investigation (500).
On 25 Oct 05 Robert E. Byers, age 50, 565
Indian Run Road, Marietta, reported during the previous evening
an unknown suspect(s) entered his vehicle and stole his wallet,
briefcase and change from the console of his GMC truck. Mr.
Byers recovered his briefcase and wallet from a neighboring
yard less approximately $150 in cash. This case remains under
investigation (597, 1097).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Andrew M. Russell, age 19, 103 Sunset Drive,
Marietta, for failure to appear for a bond hearing and arraignment,
having been indicted for breaking and entering and possession
of criminal tools.
Jesse Anderson, age 22, 542 Westview Drive, Lancaster, OH,
for violating the terms of his probation, having been sentenced
for breaking and entering on 4 Feb 02.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Wayne Richard Hayes, age 41, 283 Youba Ridge
Road, Coolville, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor.
Hayes was arrested on Farson Street by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25
Oct 05 at 12:50 am.
Jonathan Lee Slinkard, age 19, 1144 Bradford
Circle, Batavia, IL, for two felony counts of trafficking in
drugs. Slinkard was arrested at the Washington County Courthouse
by Deputy Sheriff Willson and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 25 Oct 05 at 9:10 am.
Scott Harrison Davis, age 42, Route 1 Box 1275, Darien GA,
for driving under a suspended license and for speeding, both
misdemeanors. Davis turned himself in to Sgt. Hiatt at the
Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed
into the Washington County Jail on 25 Oct 05 at 2:55 pm.
