On 24 Oct 05 Troy James, age 34, 6027 N Lindberg
Lot 3, St Louis, MO, reported his ex-wife allegedly forged
his signature on a power of attorney and a vehicle title in
order to obtain a duplicate title for the vehicle. This case
remains under investigation (500).
On 24 Oct 05 Don M. Hoffman, age 62, 12705
State Route 339, Vincent, reported some time between 22 Sep
and 21 Oct an unknown suspect(s) stole approximately 150 gallons
of gasoline from a gas tank on his farm. This case remains
under investigation (792).
On 24 Oct 05 a fifty-two year old Marietta
resident reported while she and her grandson visited friends
on Sandhill Road, the fourteen year old left on foot for another
relative’s residence and had not been seen since. Though
the juvenile was later located, this case remains under investigation
(1184).

Stephanie Denise Vaughn, age 39, 25 Watertown
Road, Watertown, for theft, a misdemeanor. Vaughn was arrested
at Sponey’s IGA by Patrolman Oliver of the Beverly Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
24 Oct 05 at 2:20 pm.
Michael Allen Lightfritz, age 25, 157308 McConnelsville Road,
Caldwell, for theft, a misdemeanor. Lightfritz was picked up
at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Oct 05
at 2:35 pm.
Phillip Allen Motley, age 20, 819 Congress Road, Belpre, for
driving under a drug abuse suspended license and for following
too closely, both misdemeanors. Motley was arrested on Drag
Strip Road by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 24 Oct 05 at 2:45 pm.
Jonni Jill Chutes, age 51, 736 Greene Street Apt. 23, Marietta,
for possession of drugs, a felony. Chutes was arrested at her
residence by Detective Tilton of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24
Oct 05 at 3:17 pm.
Eric Ellis Luke, age 18, 808 Eighth Street, Marietta, for
two misdemeanor counts of violating the terms of his probation.
Luke was arrested on the west side of Marietta by Sgt. Hiatt
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Oct 05 at 3:25 pm.
Benjamin Ivan Porter, age 39, 628 Front Street, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Porter was arrested at
his residence by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
24 Oct 05 at 3:37 pm.
Jeffry Ryan Voycik, age 22, 602 Front Street Apt. 1, Marietta,
for possession of drugs, a felony. Voycik was arrested at the
Washington County Courthouse by Detective Tilton of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 24 Oct 05 at 4:05 pm.
Buffie Marie Gerst, age 27, 628 Front Street, Marietta, for
domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Gerst was arrested at her
residence by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
24 Oct 05 at 5:30 pm.
Charles Edward Thompson, age 38, 707 Phillips Street, Marietta,
for possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony. Thompson was
arrested on State Route 7 by Detective Nohe of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 24 Oct 05 at 5:55 pm.
