On 22 Oct 05 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes responded
to the scene of an accident with injuries that occurred on
private property at 2381 Oak Hill Road, Cutler. Deputy Rhodes
was unable to identify the actual crash site in the pasture
but did notice heavy damage to the front of a Chevy Blazer
he determined was driven by Christopher D. Berg, age 29, 3368
Brownrigg Road, Waterford. Mr. Berg sustained a minor injury
while his thirty year old passenger suffered a laceration to
her head and was transported to Camden Clark Hospital for treatment.
As a result of the crash, Deputy Rhodes will issue Mr. Berg
a citation for reckless operation on private property.
On 22 Oct 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a
citation to Glen K. Tozser, age 52, 13433 Detroit Road, Lakewood,
OH, for traveling 85 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Evans stopped
Mr. Tozser on US 50 near Braun Road in Belpre Township.
On 22 Oct 05 Deputy Sheriff Mankins investigated
a report of a party at 26810 State Route 7, New Matamoras.
When he arrived Deputy Mankins spoke with Vincent M. Blazosky,
age 19, 119 Timberline Drive, Marietta, and Sean C. Wright,
age 19, 312 Spring Street, Marietta, and noticed an odor of
alcohol and that they appeared under twenty-one years old.
The two were arrested for underage consumption and placed in
Deputy Mankins’ patrol car while he investigated the
matter further. Entering the apartment with one of the lessee’s
permission, Deputy Mankins contacted James W. Radabaugh, age
19, 433 Fourth Street, Marietta, who also smelled of alcohol
and was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol. The home’s
other lessee, Jason R. Johnston, age 29, admitted purchasing
the keg of beer from which the individuals drank and issued
a summons for allowing underage individuals to remain on the
premises while consuming alcohol.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Ryan Anthony Wagner, age 24, 15386 Auburn
Road, Newbury, OH, for disorderly conduct by intoxication,
a misdemeanor. Wagner was arrested on East Spring Street in
Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Oct 05
at 12:10 am.
Aaron Keith Farnsworth, age 26, PO Box 361, Marietta, for
OVI, speeding, for driving under an FRA suspended license and
for possession of drugs, all misdemeanors. Farnsworth was arrested
on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 22 Oct 05 at 1:10 am.
Vincent Michael Blazosky, age 19, 119 Timberline Drive, Marietta,
for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Blazosky
was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Oct 05 at 2:20
am.
James William Radabaugh, age 19, 433 Fourth Street, Marietta,
for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Radabaugh
was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Oct 05 at 2:20
am.
Sean Cody Wright, age 19, 312 Spring Street, Marietta, for
underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Wright was
arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 22 Oct 05 at 2:20 am.
James Jeremey Callaway, age 20, 1623 Sixth Street, Ashtabula,
OH, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Callaway was arrested on Front
Street by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 22 Oct 05 at 2:40 am.
Donald Lee Jones, age 23, Route 2 Box 45, Davisville, WV,
for OVI and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel,
both misdemeanors. Jones was arrested on Braun Road in Belpre
by Patrolman Fields of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Oct 05
at 6:20 am.
