On 18 Oct 05 Patricia Williams, age 55, 440
Long Run Road, Lower Salem, reported the individual to whom
she sold a Great Dane puppy for $400 on 4 Oct 05, issued her
a worthless check as payment for the dog. This case remains
under investigation (8411).
On 18 Oct 05 Meagan Drydek, age 27, 950 Main
Street, Waterford, reported when she awoke that morning she
noticed the four tires on her Hyundai Sonata were cut. This
case remains under investigation (586).
On 18 Oct 05 Lt. Wilson issued a citation
to Shawn R. Gibbs, age 26, 1438 Coal Run Road, Marietta, for
failure to register. Lt. Wilson stopped Mr. Gibbs on State
Route 7 near County Road 10 in Warren Township.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Molly M. Azbell, age 34, 449 West Franklin
Street, Nelsonville, for violating the terms of her probation
by failing to show proof of obtaining a valid operator’s
license or to serve three days in jail on 7 Oct 05.
Eric E. Luke, age 18, 2180 Hanna Road, Marietta,
for failing to appear to serve one day in jail on 10 Oct 05
and ten days
in jail on 11 Oct 05.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Nathan Philip Persinger, age 22, 3004 ½ North
Avery Street, Parkersburg, for driving under a suspended license
and for having fictitious plates, both misdemeanors. Persinger
was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 18 Oct 05
at 1:10 am.
Kenneth Dale Irwin, age 41, 53 Baltimore Street,
Parkersburg, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Irwin turned
himself in to Detective Schuck at the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on
18 Oct 05 at 9:45 am.
John Eugene Mays, age 49, 717 ½ Sycamore Street, Belpre,
a fugitive from justice. Mays was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman
Jobes of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 18 Oct 05 at 4:30 pm.
