On 12 Oct 05 Deputy Sheriff Kapple investigated
a report of automobile parts stolen from a property on Dodd
Run Road. Speaking to the owner, Deputy Kapple determined the
victim’s sixteen year old brother took the usable parts
without permission and recycled them for $600 in cash. In consequence,
Deputy Kapple requested a summons for the juvenile to appear
in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency.
On 12 Oct 05 Deputy Sheriff Parks began investigating
the forging of four checks written to the Pit Stop, State Route
821, Marietta, on 13 and 14 Sep 05. The checks, written on
a closed account belonging to Crystal D. Burke, age 25, 108
Riley Drive Apt. 6, Marietta, were reportedly stolen from Ms.
Burke’s former residence that she vacated due to foreclosure.
On 12 Oct 05 Lisa M. Stanley, age 22, 150
First Street Apt. A, Vincent, reported when she entered her
vehicle to leave for work that morning her change purse containing
her driver’s license and debit cards were missing from
the center console. This case remains under investigation (592).
On 12 Oct 05 Deputy Sheriff Spencer investigated
the thefts of items from three vehicles at 17903 and 17861
State Route 676, Marietta. Stolen items include wallets, credit
cards and cash.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
David Lee Perine, age 20, 1308 Williamson
Avenue Apt. 1F, New Matamoras, for domestic violence and for
endangering children, both misdemeanors. Perine was arrested
at his residence by Chief Travaglio of the New Matamoras Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
12 Oct 05 at 12:10 am.
Joseph E. Kleinerman, age 46, 2338 Cross Creek Court, Lewis
Center, OH, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Kleinerman was arrested
on State Route 60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 12 Oct 05 at 1:20 am.
Norman David Kennedy, age 20, Marietta, for
aggravated menacing, a misdemeanor. Kennedy was arrested in
Lowell by Officer Perry of the Lowell Police Department and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Oct 05 at 6:00
pm.
