On 11 Oct 05 Peggy Neill, age 41, 214 Everson
Road, Belpre, reported at some point during the past sixteen
hours her wallet and two credit cards were stolen from inside
her vehicle. This case remains under investigation (586).
On 11 Oct 05 Ruth Watson, age 83, 211 Watertown
Road, Watertown, reported during the overnight hours an unknown
suspect cut the screens on two windows of her home. The suspect
did not gain entry and no items appear to be missing. This
case remains under investigation (586).
On 11 Oct 05 Deborah L. Wiley, age 54, 289
Virginia Street, New Martinsville, reported even though a family
member is a cosigner on her mother’s checking account,
the family member is allegedly misappropriating her mother’s
funds. Ms. Wiley stated her mother would decline to pursue
charges against the family member (1020).
On 11 Oct 05 a forty-one year old Belpre resident
reported being assaulted by her thirteen year old son. Angered
at being told to clean his room, the juvenile fulminated against
his mother and pushed her five times. Before being wrestled
to the ground the teen also punched his mother in the face
as she exited the room. Since the juvenile brought his temper
under control he was permitted to remain in the home and issued
a summons to appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency
(500).
On 11 Oct 05 Sgt. Hiatt investigated a report
of a nine year old wreaking havoc at Pennock Trailer Park in
Beverly. A neighbor of the child said the nine year old is
constantly picking fights with her eight year old son, throwing
rocks at children and refusing to leave peoples’ properties
when asked. Also citing recent responses to the trailer park
because of the same child, Sgt. Hiatt requested a summons for
the juvenile to appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of being
unruly.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Pamela Y. Ball, age 43, 836 Pike Street Apt.
23, Marietta, for the theft of an American flag from another
resident of Sierra Apartments on 15 Sep 05.
Jonathan J. Rager, age 30, Route 2 Box 97-5, Waverly, WV,
for two counts of breach of recognizance, for two counts of
theft on 28 Apr 05, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
on 28 Jun 04 and for theft and obstructing official business
on 20 Sep 05.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Anthony James Chambers, age 21, 1719 Heritage
Lake, Centerville, OH, for driving under a suspended license,
a misdemeanor. Chambers was arrested on State Route 7 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 11 Oct 05 at 3:10 am.
Benjamin Reed Coffman, age 29, 345 Hoover
Road, Vincent, for violating the terms of his probation, a
felony. Coffman was arrested at the office of Probation Officer
Linscott and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11
Oct 05 at 12:11 pm.
Jeremy Alan Garber, age 26, for violating the terms of his
probation, a felony. Garber was picked up at the Noble Correctional
Institution by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 11 Oct 05 at 2:45 pm.
