On 26 Sep 05 David Dunbar, age 37, 180 Caywood
Road, Marietta, reported being informed by a neighbor that
the previous day he observed a neighborhood boy shooting his
llamas with a pellet gun. This case remains under investigation
(500).
On 26 Sep 05 an employee of Byer’s Exxon,
27150 State Route 7, Marietta, reported a male suspect left
the store with two boxes of pizza under his shirt and departed
in a vehicle southbound on State Route 7. Locating the vehicle
shortly thereafter, Sgt. Hiatt questioned the driver who admitted
that John A. Givens, age 24, 100 Linwood Avenue Lot B, Marietta,
stole the two pizzas from the store and discarded the boxes
along the roadway. As a result, Sgt. Hiatt arrested Mr. Givens
for theft and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 26 Sep 05 while speaking to a fifteen year
old student, the principal of the Washington County Career
Center noticed the student was using smokeless tobacco. In
consequence, Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued the juvenile a minor
misdemeanor citation for underage possession of tobacco.
On 26 Sep 05 Elizabeth Bishman, age 21, 216
Fifth Street Ext., Lowell, reported when she awoke that morning
she discovered that during the night an unknown individual
spray painted her vehicle with black paint. This case remains
under investigation (1203).

John L. Duncan, age 31, 1081 N Riverview Road,
Malta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered
hearing on an order to show cause on 13 Sep 05.
Benjamin L. Bowers, age 1532 Nicholis Road, Whipple, for contempt
for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $174.75.
Nathaniel E. Campbell, age 25, 985 Arch Street, Salem, for
contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines in the sum of $312.
William E. Crothers, age 26, 1616 Pearcy Avenue, Parkersburg,
for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $435.50.
Jack E. Fox, age 27, 11 Main Street, Coolville, for violating
the terms of his probation by failing to show proof of obtaining
a valid operator’s license or to serve three days in
jail as ordered by the court.
Justin M. Harris, age 21, Lane Farm Road, Marietta, for contempt
for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $321.10.
Sharon L. Hinkle, age 49, 1216 Williamson Avenue, New Matamoras,
for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $523.50.
Seth L. Jackson, age 22, 2414 Waterford Road, Marietta, for
contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines in the sum of $383.50.
Justin S. Taylor, age 19, 803 Ridge Street, Belpre, for passing
a bad check for $385 on 13 Apr 05.
Scott M. Zimmerman, age 26, 319B Main Street, Caldwell, for
operating a watercraft in excess of idle and for having an
expired registration on 3 Sep 05.
Billy Rush, age 41, 707 Baker Street, Zanesville, for contempt
for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order
to show cause on 13 Sep 05.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
David Andrew Walker, age 19, 2836 Sealy Ridge
Road, Vincent, for violating the terms of his probation, a
misdemeanor. Walker was arrested at the office of Probation
Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 26 Sep 05 at 10:55 am.
John Aaron Givens, age 24, 100 Linwood Avenue Lot B, Marietta,
for a felony charge of violating the terms of his parole and
a misdemeanor charge of theft. Givens was arrested on State
Route 7 by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26
Sep 05 at 8:20 pm.
