On 21 Sep 05 Robert Miller, age 51, 2 State
Route 124, Little Hocking, reported when he returned home from
work that evening he noticed where an unknown suspect(s) forcibly
entered his home through a rear door and stole a DVD player,
a laptop computer and loose change from a jar. This case remains
under investigation (586).
On 21 Sep 05 Ken Hart, age 84, 4443 State
Route 339, Belpre, reported while he was infirmed due to heart
problems, a person to whom he rented an adjacent property may
have stolen bails of hay, a gallon of weed killer and several
cans of paint. This case remains under investigation (586).
On 21 Sep 05 Richard Haught Sr., age 67, 513
Smith Street, Marietta, reported between 1:30 and 9 pm that
day, a window air conditioner, a television and a stereo were
stolen from a trailer he owns and where his son resides. This
case remains under investigation (292).
On 21 Sep 05 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes was dispatched
to the scene of a domestic dispute at 103 Pine Drive, Little
Hocking. Summer L. Science, age 27, informed Deputy Rhodes
she and her husband Adam, age 30, were arguing about housework
when he began yelling at her and broke several family pictures
in the hallway. Mr. Science proceeded to strike his wife on
the shoulders and in the face. Determining Mrs. Science was
in fear for her safety, Deputy Rhodes arrested Mr. Science
for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington
County Jail.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Douglas E. Hill, age 24, 25751 Lake Road,
Bay Village, OH, for driving under an FRA suspended license
and for speeding on 11 Jun 05.
Cynthia J. Overbee, age 40, 30 A Street, Saint Albans, WV,
for obstructing justice by providing false information on 9
Aug 05.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
John Andrew Tullius III, age 25, 1011 Front
Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a
misdemeanor. Tullius was arrested at his residence by Patrolman
Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 21 Sep 05 at 2:20 am.
Adam Lee Science, age 30, 103 Pine Drive,
Little Hocking, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Science
was arrested at his residence by Lt. Canavan of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 21 Sep 05 at 11:20 am.
David Lee Rowe Jr., age 29, 711 Warren Avenue, Belpre, for
domestic violence and for violating the terms of his probation,
both felonies. Rowe was picked up at CRC by Deputy Sheriff
Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on
21 Sep 05 at 4:15 pm.
Daniel Ray Hickman, age 20, 312 Scott Avenue, Belpre, for
a felony charge of menacing by stalking and misdemeanor charges
of criminal trespassing and theft. Hickman was arrested at
his residence by Patrolman Smeeks of the Belpre City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
21 Sep 05 at 9:30 pm.
