On 29 Aug 05 Jennifer L. Johnson, age 27, 51170 State Route 7, New Matamoras, reported a Chevy 1500 she borrowed from a friend was stolen from outside her residence between 2 and 6 am that morning. This case remains under investigation (1203).

On 29 Aug 05 Stephen R. Schofield, age 49, reported sometime between 10 pm on 27 Aug and 7 am on 28 Aug an unknown suspect(s) threw eggs on his 1998 Dodge truck. This case remains under investigation (792).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Joseph A. Bailey, age 42, 347 ½ Pike Street, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $276.90.

Jonathan L. Kennedy, age 34, 509 Wirt Street, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled appointment on 1 Aug 05.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Douglas Eugene Brookover, age 51, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Brookover was arrested on Muskingum Drive by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Aug 05 at 12:40 am.

Samantha Claudette Lemon, age 23, 1560 Pleasants Ridge Road, Marietta, for OVI, for driving under an FRA suspended license, for giving false information to avoid a ticket, for possession of drugs and for possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Lemon was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Aug 05 at 3:45 am.
