On 24 Aug 05 inmates Allen B. Biehl, age 33,
125 Rummer Road, Marietta, and Matthew J. Iman, age 38, 13800
McMullen Highway, Cumberland, MD, engaged in an altercation
in the bathroom of the Washington County Jail. Beginning when
Mr. Iman cut in front of Mr. Biehl in the Kool-Aid line, Mr.
Iman began constantly tormented Mr. Biehl. Once the two were
in the bathroom, Mr. Iman instigated the encounter that ended
with the two bleeding from lacerations obtained by striking
fixtures in the bathroom. As a result of further investigation
Corrections Officer Bichard requested summonses for Mr. Iman
for assault and for Mr. Biehl for disorderly conduct by fighting.
On 24 Aug 05 Lt. Wilson issued a citation
to Anita J. Hayes, age 30, 2285 Yuba Ridge Road, Coolville,
for failure to register. Lt. Wilson stopped Ms. Hayes on State
Route 124 near Belpre Township Park in Belpre Township.
On 24 Aug 05 Lt. Canavan and Deputy Sheriff
Simmons were dispatched to the scene of a fracas at 425 Greene
Street, Newport. Daniel Freeland, age 27, 21837 State Route
7, New Matamoras, stated he and his sister Lynsey, age 22,
1785 Duff Road, New Matamoras, arrived and parked adjacent
to the residence of his children’s mother, Valeria M.
Holdren, age 21. Due to previous encounters at the custody
exchange, Mr. Freeland audibly recorded the exchange as his
sister recorded video. Immediately Ms. Holdren’s mother
Deborah, age 44, attacked Ms. Freeland. As Mr. Freeman attempted
to assist his sister he was also assaulted by David J. Holdren,
age 46, Valeria’s father. The skirmish ceased momentarily
until Mrs. Holdren noticed Mr. Freeland’s recording device
and charged him, knocking the recorder to the ground. Ms. Holdren
removed the tape, thereby proceeding to destroy it as evidentiary
value. Attempting to skew the scene, Mrs. Holdren moved Mr.
Freeland’s vehicle onto her property. In conclusion to
their investigation Deputy Simmons arrested Mr. Holdren for
assault, Mrs. Holdren for unauthorized use of a vehicle and
for two counts of assault and Ms. Holdren for tampering with
evidence and transported them to the Washington County Jail.
On 24 Aug 05 Deputy Sheriff Spencer along
with Detectives Brockmeier and Johnson began an investigation
into a number of thefts from vehicles on Third, Fourth and
Fifth Streets in Lowell.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Karen Sue Rogers, age 44, 802Collins Road,
Whipple, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Rogers was arrested at Pennock
Trailer Court in Beverly by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County
Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 24 Aug 05 at 11:10 am.
Shawn Allen Mayle, age 22, 16907 Sharpsburg Road, Sharpsburg,
OH, for operating without or with an expired operator’s
license, for operating without license plates, for driving
outside the marked lanes of travel and for contempt of a court
order, all misdemeanors. Mayle was arrested on State Route
550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 24 Aug 05 at 11:39 am.
Kaila Renee Moore, age 19, 415 Granville Street, Baltimore,
OH, for two charges of complicity in breaking and entering
and for possession of criminal tools, all felonies. Moore was
picked up at the Fairfield County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Aug 05
at 1:45 pm.
Jamie Ann Schaefer, age 25, 953 Miller Avenue Apt. C, Newark,
OH, for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Schaefer was
picked up at the Licking County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Aug 05
at 1:45 pm.
Blake Edmond Stoneman, age 21, 2211 Sixth Avenue, Parkersburg,
for driving under a suspended license and for failure to control,
both misdemeanors. Stoneman was arrested by A1 Bonding and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Aug 05 at 10:20
pm.
Shawn Norman Bonar, age 29, 134 Whipkey Drive, Waterford,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Bonar was arrested at
McDonald’s in Beverly by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Aug 05 at 10:50 pm.
David Jay Holdren, age 46, 425 Greene Street, Newport, for
assault, a misdemeanor. Holdren was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 24 Aug 05 at 10:50 pm.
Deborah Jean Holdren, age 44, 425 Greene Street, Newport,
for two counts of assault and for unauthorized use of a motor
vehicle, all misdemeanors. Holdren was arrested at her residence
by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 24 Aug 05 at 11:00 pm.
Valeria Michelle Holdren, age 21, 425 Greene Street, Newport,
for tampering with evidence, a felony. Holdren was arrested
at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 24 Aug 05 at 11:45 pm.
