On 14 Aug 05 Deputy Sheriff Malone investigated
a report by a neighbor of an unoccupied residence at 9240 Muskingum
River Road, Lowell. The neighbor stated he observed two individuals
carrying a refrigerator out of the home for sale and loading
it into a Ford truck. This case remains under investigation.
On 14 Aug 05 an employee of Par Mar, 66 Arrowhead
Road, Little Hocking, reported while two females occupied her
between 2 and 2:30 that morning, their male companion allegedly
stole eight cartons of Winston cigarettes, then drove off without
paying for ten dollars in gasoline. This case remains under
investigation (296).
On 14 Aug 05 Deputy Sheriff Parks investigated
two 911 hang up calls originating at 26935 State Route 7 Apt.
5B, Marietta. Hearing a female scream, Deputy Parks attempted
to kick the door open when Robert W. Strother, age 26, opened
the door. After he handcuffed Mr. Strother, Stacy Strother,
age 36, informed Deputy Parks her husband choked her to the
point of unconsciousness four or five times because he believed
she was having an affair and that when she tried to call for
help he hung up the phone. In consequence, Deputy Parks arrested
Mr. Strother for domestic violence and transported him to the
Washington County Jail.
On 14 Aug 05 a thirty-six year old Belpre
resident reported for the past nine months she has been receiving
harassing phone calls from a group of juveniles threatening
her son and daughter. This case remains under investigation
(296).
On 14 Aug 05 Roxanne Drayer, age 44, 1210
Drag Strip Road, Belpre, reported she has not seen or heard
from her roommate Matthew Lamp, age 22, since he left to fill
out a job application the afternoon of 8 Aug. This case remains
under investigation (296).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Robert William Strother, age 26, 26935 State
Route 7, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Strother
was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 14 Aug 05 at 4:24 am.
Amber Lynn Webster, age 25, 104 Lexington Avenue, Chauncey,
OH, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Webster was arrested on State Route
7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 14 Aug 05 at 5:42 am.
Glen Edward Church, age 42, 500 Barclay Street Apt. D, Belpre,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Church
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Fields of the Belpre
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 14 Aug 05 at 9:29 pm.
