On 11 Aug 05 Deputy Sheriff Kapple issued
a citation to Michael J. McCabe, age 19, 1041 Beardsley Avenue,
Akron, for operating with an expired license. Deputy Kapple
stopped Mr. McCabe near milepost ten on Interstate 77 in Salem
Township.
On 11 Aug 05 Belinda Swartz, age 33, 315 Forshey
Road, Marietta, reported when she returned to her home after
a three day vacation she noticed a window screen on the ground
outside a window and dirt on top of a clothes dryer in front
of the window. Though nothing seemed to be out of place, Ms.
Swartz reported a bowl full of change was missing from the
night stand in her bedroom. This case remains under investigation
(296).
On 11 Aug 05 a member of the Warren Volunteer
Fire Department, 17305 State Route 550, Marietta, reported
over the last few days a vandal forced open a pop machine that
is outside the firehouse, stealing the cash inside. This case
remains under investigation (200, 305).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Richard D. Bay, age 37, 301 Oakwood Avenue,
Marietta, for the theft of a package of saltine crackers from
another inmate of the Washington County Jail on 6 Aug 05.
David V. Jackson, age 64, Pennock Trailer Court Lot 21, Beverly,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication on 27 Jul 05.
Jodi L. Sargent, age 18, 16173 State Route 555, Bartlett,
for failing to register a dog on 22 Jul 05.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Andrew Michael Russell, age 19, Marietta,
for two felony counts of breaking and entering as well as misdemeanor
counts of possession of criminal tools and failure to appear.
Russell was arrested on Ohio Street in Marietta by Patrolman
Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 11 Aug 05 at 4:05 am.
David Michael Moore, age 29, Marietta, for failure to appear
at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor.
Moore was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Newell of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 11 Aug 05 at 8:49 am.
Serena Fawn Biehl, age 28, 311 Chestnut Street,
Marietta, for a felony charge of theft and for a misdemeanor
charge of OVI. Biehl was arrested on Third Street in Marietta
by Patrolman Hanson of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Aug 05
at 3:03 pm.
Robert John Brotton Jr., age 38, 2411 State Route 564, Caldwell,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Brotton was arrested at the rest stop
in Fly by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 11 Aug 05 at 11:40 pm.
