On 10 Aug 05 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and
Aboo assisted the Marietta City Police Department in a drug
search of a stopped vehicle. As a result of the search the
Marietta PD confiscated 101.5 grams of a white powder the officers
believe is cocaine. Charges will be filed on the suspects by
the Marietta PD.
On 10 Aug 05 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued
a citation to Destry R. Sargent, age 27, 17537 State Route
555, Bartlett, for driving under a suspended license. Deputy
Rhodes stopped Mr. Sargent on State Route 550 near Virginia
Street in Marietta Township.
On 10 Aug 05 Andrew D. Grimm, age 59, 5680
State Route 26, Marietta, reported thieves used bolt cutters
to steal the sign for his business at the entrance of his driveway.
This case remains under investigation (1071).
On 10 Aug 05 Homer Wilson, age 71, 2707 Lenore
Street, Parkersburg, reported receiving from a tenant, a bad
check for $385 for April’s rent. This case remains under
investigation (8411).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Shawn David Dalrymple, age 21, 202 Faye Avenue,
Marietta, for criminal damaging/endangering, a misdemeanor.
Dalrymple was arrested at the Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman
Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 10 Aug 05 at 12:05 am.
Jeremy Alan Krieg, age 19, 4808 Crestview Circle, Parkersburg,
for carrying a concealed weapon and for possession of drug
paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Krieg was arrested on Washington
Boulevard in Belpre by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 10 Aug 05 at 12:55 am.
Marvin Ray Ruble Jr., age 32, 133 Acme Street Apt. A, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Ruble was arrested at
his residence by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
10 Aug 05 at 4:10 am.
Jeremy Burgin Green, age 24, Marietta, for possession of drugs,
a felony. Green was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by
Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Aug 05
at 8:05 am.
Jerry Melvin Key, age 43, 480 Oxbow Lane, New Matamoras, for
domestic violence, a felony. Key was arrested at the Courthouse
by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 10 Aug 05 at 8:35 am.
Mitchell Lee Greenwood, age 20, Greene Street,
Newport, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Greenwood was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Perry
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Aug 05
at 9:25 am.
Christopher Shane Scarbro, age 33, 900 Glendale Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Scarbro
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Perry and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 10 Aug 05 at 9:25 am.
Joseph Benjamin Mayle, age 21, Caldwell, for felonious assault.
Mayle was picked up at the Noble County Correctional Facility
by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 10 Aug 05 at 10:05 am.
Gregory Leo Levitre, age 31, 280 ½ Muskingum Drive,
Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Levitre was
arrested at the Courthouse by Corrections Officer Reeder and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Aug 05 at 10:20
am.
Andrew Joseph Brooker, age 20, 705 BF Goodrich Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Brooker
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Perry and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 10 Aug 05 at 10:45 am.
Aaron Joseph Streight, age 26, 4791 Waterford Road, Marietta,
for aggravated menacing, a misdemeanor. Streight was arrested
in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 10 Aug 05 at 3:00 pm.
