On 5 Aug 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a
citation to David J. Behun, age 28, 4794 Boneta Road, Medina,
OH, for traveling 93 mph in a 65 mph zone. Deputy Evans stopped
Mr. Behun on Interstate 77 near milepost six in Muskingum Township.
On 5 Aug 05 Deputy Sheriff Parks was dispatched
to the scene of an altercation at lot thirty-four of Pennock
Trailer Court in Beverly. Jeremiah Pauley, age 23, stated after
instigating a fight with an acquaintance, a friend of the acquaintance
allegedly threatened him with a gun. Unable to identify the
other individuals involved and due to a lack of cooperation,
Deputy Parks requested a summons for Mr. Pauley for disorderly
conduct by fighting.
On 5 Aug 05 Deputy Sheriff Mankins initiated
a traffic stop near Sparling Market in Waterford after noticing
a vehicle without a front license plate. When asked, Richard
P. Bohl, age 38, 6585 State Route 676, Stockport, admitted
he was driving under a suspended license and that he consumed
alcohol earlier in the evening. As a result of Mr. Bohl’s
poor performance on field sobriety tests, Deputy Mankins arrested
him for OVI and for driving under a suspended license and transported
him to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Bryan Lee Stewart, age 36, 775 Turkey Hollow
Road, Cutler, for driving under a suspended license, for failure
to control and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors.
Stewart was arrested in Decatur Township by Deputy Sheriff
Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Aug
05 at 12:10 am.
Chantae Renay Kanitz, age 18, 37 Turner Drive, Belpre, for
operating without a license, a misdemeanor. Kanitz was arrested
on State Route 821 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 5 Aug 05 at 2:00 am.
Kraig Evan Brand, age 46, 43139 Krieg Ridge
Road, New Matamoras, for failure to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Brand was picked up
in Monroe County by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 5 Aug 05 at 11:20 am.
Robert Gregory Price, age 33, 515 Main Street, Caldwell, for
a felony and a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear. Price
was picked up in Noble County by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Aug 05 at
5:21 pm.
Richard Paul Bohl, age 38, 6585 State Route 26, Stockport,
for OVI and for driving under an FRA suspended license, both
misdemeanors. Bohl was arrested at Sparling Farms by Deputy
Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 5 Aug 05 at 9:35 pm.
