On 19 Jul 05 Deputy Sheriff Norman investigated
a burglary at 315 Snearly Drive, Marietta. Upon inspecting
the vacant home, owned by Brett Kesselring, 312 North Louisiana
Avenue, Martinsburg, WV, Deputy Norman noted an unknown suspect(s)
forcibly entered the home, strewn paint on the floor and walls
and left shreds of toilet paper throughout the house. This
case remains under investigation.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Geoffery A. Davis, age 49, unknown address,
for contempt for failiure to appear for sentencing, having
been convicted of felonious assault and abduction.
Sami M. Gorrafa, age 24, 770 James Street Apt. 909, Syracuse,
NY, for telephone harassment on 30 Apr 05.
Lowell D. Vincent Jr., age 41, 321 Sixth Street, Marietta,
for domestic violence on 28 Jun 05.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Sherman Lee Turner, age 30, 1809 16th Street,
Vienna, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Turner was arrested on in Belpre by Patrolman Morris of the
Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 19 Jul 05 at 2:50 am.
Angel Beth Jackson, age 22, 225 Main Street,
Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Jackson was arrested in Belpre
by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jul 05
at 11:30 am.
Donnie Gene Snyder, age 45, Budget Lodge Room 116, Belpre,
for having fictitious plates, a misdemeanor. Snyder turned
himself in to by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
19 Jul 05 at 11:40 am.
Gregory Alan Haas, age 43, 1918 Third Street, Elk City, OK,
for failure to appear and for violating the terms of his probation,
both felonies. Haas was picked up in Beckham County, Oklahoma
by Deputy Sheriff Doak and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 19 Jul 05 at 6:00 pm.
Raymond Lee Scarbrough, age 49, 708 Front Street Apt. 16,
Marietta, for domestic violence, a felony. Scarbrough was arrested
on Lord Street in Marietta by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 19 Jul 05 at 11:40 pm.
