On 13 Jul 05 Deputy Sheriff Norman responded to the scene of the death of a fifty-six year bold Whipple resident. Speaking with the victim’s family, Deputy Norman determined the man passed away after an extended illness.

On 13 Jul 05 Carla J. Farmer, age 48, 310 Third Street, Lowell, reported while she was in her living room around 8:30 that evening an unknown suspect threw a rock through the front plate glass window of her residence. This case remains under investigation (1071).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Christopher R. Ball, age 25, 54749 New Portland Road, Portland, OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $305.50.

Michael D. Blind, age 26, 1985 Main Street, Stockport, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,040.90.

David R. Brookover, age 26, Ross Road, Waverly, WV, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled appointment on 20 Jun 05.

Sherry M. Duff, age 34, 685 Mitchell’s Lane, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $93.60.

Angel B. Jackson, age 22, 225B Main Street, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $118.30.

David C. MacClymont Jr., age 37, 307 Third Street, Lowell, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $657.80.

George J. Ward, age 34, 3454 State Route 821, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $260.00.

Jennifer I. Wilson, age 32, Southgate Trailer Park Lot 3, Reno, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $240.50.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

John Philip Tjapkes, age 34, 211 Clark Drive, Marietta, for OVI and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, both misdemeanors. Tjapkes was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Jul 05 at 3:05 am.

Edward Irvin Porter, 24, 46125 Slaters Road, Caldwell, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Porter was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Douglas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13 Jul 05 at 12:40 pm.
