On 11 Jul 05 Deputy Sheriff Norman responded to a residence on Hanover Road in Cutler where the home’s resident, Steven N. Smith, age 53, was injured when his Subaru rolled backwards over him. Mr. Smith was transported to Camden Clark Hospital for treatment to his injuries.

On 11 Jul 05 Terrie A. Davis, age 33, 416 Arnold Road, Lowell, arrived at the Sheriff’s Office to report her husband Jeremy, age 23, assaulted her during the early morning hours the previous day. Mrs. Davis elaborated to Sgt. Hiatt that during an argument that transpired on their driveway, her husband thrust his head against hers, leaving a bruise around her left eye. Mr. Davis continued his tirade by tearing the phone booth off the side of the house before leaving the county on a work assignment. Therefore Sgt. Hiatt requested a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Davis for domestic violence.

On 11 Jul 05 Deputy Sheriff Spencer responded to the scene of the death of a fifty year old New Matamoras resident. Though the death does not appear suspicious, this case remains under investigation.

Bradley G. Antill, age 26, 205A Coal Run Road, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $208.00.

Jeremy R. Braun, age 21, 195 Caywood Road, Marietta, for failing to appear to serve three days in jail in 24 Jun 05.

Terrel C. Davis, age 20, 713 Mary Street, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,280.50.

Mark L. Hughey, age 35547 Cats Creek Road, Lowell, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $581.10.

Adam D. Mason, age 21, 2100 Hill Street Apt. G, Belpre, for failing to appear to serve three days in jail in 26 Jun 05 and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $2,430.35.

Andrew M. Russell, age 19, 818 Second Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,098.50.

Tracey L. Schope, age 35, 1806E Main Street, Oak Hill, WV, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $698.50.

Jennifer L. Southall, 9243 Muskingum River Road, Lowell, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $455.65.

Malinda J. Staunton, age 45, 2422 Joyce Avenue, Columbus, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $312.00.

Jason E. Tidd, age 28, Route 1 Box 197, Newport, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $232.70.

Mary M. Warren, age 56, Second Street Lot 5, Beverly, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $123.50.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Dallas Willey Farnsworth, age 31, 266 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Farnsworth was arrested on Third Street in Marietta by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jul 05 at 3:16 pm.

Robert Lynn Antill, age 45, 311 Franklin Street, Marietta, for assault, a misdemeanor. Antill was arrested on Second Street in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jul 05 at 3:50 pm.

Larry Gale Newbrough Jr., age 40, 611 ½ Wayne Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and for domestic violence, both misdemeanors. Newbrough was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jul 05 at 7:20 pm.

Brandon Oscar Chambers, age 23, 1703 33rd Street, Lorain, OH, for improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and for two counts of possession of drugs, all felonies. Chambers was picked up at the Lorain County Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jul 05 at 8:00 pm.

Dewin Bradley Wilson, age 40, 4215 Trow Bridge Avenue, Cleveland, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Wilson was picked up at the Cuyahoga County Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jul 05 at 8:00 pm.

Mark Lewis Warne, age 42, 53497 Lydia Road, Coolville, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for speeding, both misdemeanors. Warne was arrested on US 50 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jul 05 at 8:00 pm.
