On 9 Jul 05 Deputy Sheriff Willson investigated
a theft report at Byer’s Exxon, State Route 7, Marietta.
The store’s clerk reported seeing a male and female suspects
walk out of the store with a Humane Society donation jar and
return a moment later with an empty jar. Despite the denials
of Sheena D. Kidd, age 19, 26935 State Route 7 Apt. 1D, Marietta,
witnesses confirm seeing Ms. Kidd remove the money from the
jar and place it in her pocket. Deputy Willson also determined
Ms. Kidd’s live-in boyfriend Walter R. Jaraucaro Jr.,
age 23, aided and abetted the theft in shielding Ms. Kidd as
the exited the store. Therefore Deputy Wilson requested a summons
for Ms. Kidd for theft and for Mr. Jaraucaro for complicity.
On 9 Jul 05 Deputy Sheriff Parks requested
a summons for Bethani Woods, age 28, 734 Lancaster Street,
Marietta, for theft. Deputy Parks determined that while she
and her husband visited an acquaintance, Mrs. Woods stole
$360 from underneath the acquaintance’s wallet.
On 9 Jul 05 Deputy Sheriffs Smithberger and
Rhodes initiated a traffic stop at the Lawnsdale Bar after
noticing a vehicle with an inoperable license plate light.
When so inquired, Jessica R. Post, age 24, 1000 Dutch Ridge
Place Apt. 22, Parkersburg, admitted consuming alcohol at
a number of places earlier in the evening. As a result of Ms.
Post’s poor performance on field sobriety tests, Deputy
Smithberger arrested her for OVI and transported her to the
Washington County Jail.
On 9 Jul 05 a thirty-nine year old Marietta
resident reported his fourteen and eleven year old sons continuously
fail to abide by house rules, swear at him and spit on him.
Since the father said other forms of discipline failed Sgt.
Hiatt requested summonses for the juveniles to appear in court
for being unruly.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jessica Renee Post, age 24, 1000 Dutch Ridge
Place Apt. 22, Parkersburg, for OVI and for having a faulty
license plate light, both misdemeanors. Post was arrested on
State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Smithberger and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 9 Jul 05 at 3:20 am.
Aaron Kristopher Beall, age 25, 415 Barber Avenue, Marietta,
for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Beall
was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jul 05 at 7:40
am.
Andrew Phillip Allen, age 24, 205 Scammel Street Apt. 2, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Allen
turned himself in at the Sheriff’s Office and was processed
into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jul 05 at 4:00 pm.
Cynthia Jean Spencer, age 36, 727 Greene Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Spencer was arrested at her residence
by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Jul 05 at
7:00 pm.
