On 7 Jul 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans requested
a summonses for Steven W. Rush, age 18, 1770 Sealy Ridge Road,
Vincent, for disorderly conduct as well as for four juveniles
in the Vincent area for being delinquent. Deputy Evans requested
the summonses after an incident on 5 Jul during which time
the four juveniles engaged in a confrontation with Mr. Rush
on Sealy Ridge Road.
On 7 Jul 05 an employee of the Washington
County Sewer Department reported at some point over the holiday
weekend an unknown suspect(s) cut down a tree bordering a sewer
facility at 126 Oak Drive, Little Hocking, causing the tree
to fall on and damage a fence surrounding the facility. This
case remains under investigation (586).
On 7 Jul 05 Amelia D. Fouss, age 23, 928 Jennison
Street, Beverly, struck a deer as she traveled north on State
Route 60, just south of Laurel Ridge Road. The impact cause
functional damage to Ms. Fouss’ Volkswagen, no injuries
were reported.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Timothy Wayne Snyder, age 24, 3543 Tick Ridge
Road, Vincent, for driving under a suspended license, for having
an expired registration, for failure to appear and for possession
of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Snyder was arrested
on Washington Boulevard in Belpre by Patrolman Smeeks of the
Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 7 Jul 05 at 12:05 am.
Kirk Michael Urban, age 30, 122 Tennis Center Drive, Marietta,
for public indecency, a misdemeanor. Urban was arrested at
Marietta Memorial Hospital by Deputy Sheriff Parks and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 7 Jul 05 at 1:00 am.
Erin Lynn Currey, age 18, 213 Cedar Street, Marietta, for
disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Currey was
arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Patrolman McCracken
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 7 Jul 05 at 3:50 am.
Marc Anthony Crockett, age 25, 1560 Pleasant
Ridge Road, Marietta, for felony charges of theft, safecracking,
breaking and entering, possession of criminal tools, tampering
with evidence and of violating the terms of his parole as well
as a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines. Crockett was picked up at the Noble
Correctional Institute by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 7 Jul 05 at 11:08
am.
Robert Charles Van Scyoc, age 47, 454 Wooster Road North,
Barberton, OH, for driving under a suspended license and for
speeding, both misdemeanors. Van Scyoc was arrested on Interstate
77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 7 Jul 05 at 7:33 pm.
