On 4 Jul 05 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to
Shaun M. McFarland, age 26, 523 Phillips Street, Marietta,
for failure to reinstate his operator’s license. Lt.
Wilson stopped Mr. McFarland near Products Lane on State Route
7 in Marietta Township.
On 4 Jul 05 James E. Corder, age 39, 19113
State Route 821, Macksburg, reported sometime between last
Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon an unknown suspect(s)
stole a set of Craftsman tools from a barn on his property.
This case remains under investigation (1203).
On 4 Jul 05 Deputy Sheriffs Rhodes and Smithberger
were dispatched to the scene of a domestic dispute at 3810
Tick Ridge Road, Vincent. Deborah J. Shutts, age 37, detailed
that an argument began with her live-in boyfriend Darrell Huck,
age 44, at a friend’s residence. As the two drove home
with Ms. Shutt’s son the quarrel continued and reached
climax when they arrived home, ending with Mr. Huck shoving
Ms. Shutt to the floor. Based on their investigation, Deputy
Smithberger arrested Mr. Huck for domestic violence and transported
him to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Darrell Joseph Huck, age 44, 3810 Tick Ridge
Road, Vincent, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Huck was
arrested on West Road in Bartlett by Deputy Sheriff Smithberger
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jul 05 at
1:30 am.
Trina Renee Stewart, age 32, 3225 Fielding Place, Greensboro,
NC, for driving under an FRA suspended License, a misdemeanor.
Stewart was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jul
05 at 4:20 am.
Shontika Renee Armstrong, age 26, 2734 Wayman Palmer Drive
Apt. 21, for driving under a suspended license and for speeding,
both misdemeanors. Armstrong was arrested on Interstate 77
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 4 Jul 05 at 11:35 am.
Curtis Carmen Lowers, age 33, 3131 County Road 418, Panasoffkee,
FL, for contempt of a court order and for failing to appear
at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors.
Lowers was arrested on Seventh Street in Marietta by Patrolman
Douglas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jul 05 at 12:00 pm.
Tammy Ann Birkhimer, age 47, 601 Driftwood Drive, Charleston,
WV, for OVI, for driving under a suspended license, for driving
outside the marked lanes of travel, for possession of drug
paraphernalia and for two counts of possession of drugs, all
misdemeanors. Birkhimer was arrested on Interstate 77 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 4 Jul 05 at 4:15 pm.
Jonathan Wayne Batten, age 22, 4592 Bessemer Road, Nelsonville,
for tow counts of failure to appear, both misdemeanors. Batten
was arrested on County Road 59 by Patrolman Jobes of the Belpre
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 4 Jul 05 at 5:42 pm.
