On 25 Jun 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a citation to William Weber, age 20, 1465 Bells Run Road, Newport, for traveling 80 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Evans stopped Mr. Weber near milepost forty-seven on State Route 7 in Grandview Township.

On 25 Jun 05, while on patrol in the 100 block of Greene Street near the Williamstown Bridge Deputy Sheriff Evans observed an individual stumbling from left to right walking on the sidewalk. Identifying the individual as James A. Cooper, age 19, 136 Dawes Circle, Marietta, by his social security number, Deputy Evans inquired how much he had to drink, to which Mr. Cooper replied ten or eleven beers. Being that Mr. Cooper is under twenty-one years of age, Deputy Evans arrested him for underage consumption of alcohol and for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jesse James Bell, age 24, 4220 Welch Road, Little Hocking, for .17 breath OVI, for driving under a suspended license and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel, all misdemeanors. Bell was arrested near milepost five on State Route 339 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Jun 05 at 5:05 am.

James Allen Cooper, age 19, 136 Dawes Circle, Marietta, for underage consumption of alcohol, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for violating the terms of his probation, all misdemeanors. Cooper was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Jun 05 at 5:45 am.

David Allen Bayless, age 29, 618 Eighth Street, Marietta, for felony charges of the illegal manufacturing of drugs, for the illegal possession of chemicals for the production of drugs and for a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines. Bayless was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Detective Nohe of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Jun 05 at 10:25 pm.

David Wilson Stockton, age 25, 2945 Diamond Cut, Columbus, for five counts of felonious assault and for felony charges of the illegal manufacturing of drugs and violating the terms of his parole. Stockton was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Detective Nohe of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Jun 05 at 10:30 pm.
