On 24 Jun 05 the owner of the Cliffside Carryout,
20825 State Route 550, Marietta, reported a customer, irate
over the cost of a soft drink she purchased through the drive
through, refused to leave the business. When Deputy Sheriff
Mankins arrived Beth L. Mayle, age 25, 11031 State Route 555,
Cutler, remained on the premises, sitting in her vehicle. Ms.
Mayle admitted being asked to leave and refusing to do so;
therefore Deputy Mankins requested a summons for Ms. Mayle
for criminal trespassing.
On 24 Jun 05 Gary A. Ford, age 52, 682 Elk
Run Road, Beverly, reported between last Thursday night and
Friday morning, an unknown suspect entered his garage and stole
a Stihl weedeater, several tools, a staple gun, an inverter,
a hedge trimmer and a can of mixed gasoline. This case remains
under investigation (296).
On 24 Jun 05 Becky L. Littleton, age 40, 6850
State Route 821, Lowell, reported her wallet and that belonging
to the child she was babysitting were stolen from her beach
bag while swimming at the Lowell pool around 1 pm that afternoon.
This case remains under investigation (1071).
On 24 Jun 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans stopped
to assist a motorist attempting to start a stranded vehicle
between mileposts thirty-six and thirty-seven on State Route
7. Through his social security number Deputy Evans identified
the driver as Charles J. Roberts, age 18, 305 Oakwood Avenue,
Marietta. Detecting an odor of alcohol, Deputy Evans administered
field sobriety tests, on which Mr. Roberts performed poorly.
As a result, Deputy Evans arrested Mr. Roberts for being in
physical control of a vehicle while under the influence and
transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 24 Jun 05 Deputy Sheriff Kapple issued
a citation to Donnie G. Snyder, age 45, 4755 State Route 339,
Vincent, for having a fictitious registration. Deputy Kapple
stopped Mr. Snyder after receiving a report of a suspicious
vehicle in the area of State Route 339 and US 50 in Belpre
Township.
On 24 Jun 05 Charles Rowan, age 39, 116 Tennis
Center Drive, Marietta, reported between 4:30 and 9 pm on 17
Jun 05 his seven megapixel Sony digital camera and bag of camera
accessories valued over $1,900 were stolen from his garage.

On 24 Jun 05 the owner of the Bartlett Corner
Store, 2345 State Route 550, Cutler, reported the driver of
a blue and grey Camaro drove off without paying for twenty
dollars in gasoline. Deputy Sheriff Mankins located the driver
of the vehicle, Timothy S. Blow, age 30, Box 35, Vincent, who
admitted taking the gasoline and requested a summons for Mr.
Blow for theft.

Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $687.30.
Marc A. Crockett, age 25, 2997 Pleasants Ridge Road, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $1,703.00.
Amy L. Davis, age 30, 122 Tennis Center Drive Apt. 26, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $760.50.
Richard P. Davis, age 25, 610 Cross Street, Summerfield, OH,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $648.70.
Terrel C. Davis, age 20, 713 Mary Street, Belpre, for violating
the terms of his probation by failing to appear for a scheduled
appointment.
Kimberly R. Hartshorn, age 42, 502 West Fourth Street Apt.
B, Williamstown, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $57.20.
Sheldon D. Hill, age 22, 2691C Lake Road, Fleming, for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the
sum of $240.50.
Matthew R. Jett, age 20, 209 Fifth Street Ext. Lowell, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $267.20.
Josh A. Morris, age 26, 37301 Seventh Avenue, Sardis, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $286.90.
Martin L. McLean, age 44, 929 Byron Street, Weirton, WV, for
two charges of violating the terms of his probation by failing
to appear for a scheduled appointment.
Robert G. Price, age 33, 515 Main Street, Caldwell, for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the
sum of $436.60.
Brian T. Sawyer, age 25, 313 Ross Road, Little Hocking, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
in the sum of $821.99.
Michael D. Warne, 470 Hadley Hollow, Marietta, for failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the
sum of $465.40.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Matthew Lester Jones, age 20, 509 Front Street,
Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Jones was arrested on Franklin
Street in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 24 Jun 05 at 1:15 am.
Charles Justin Roberts, age 18, 305 Oakwood Avenue, Marietta,
for being in physical control of a vehicle while under the
influence, a misdemeanor. Roberts was arrested on State Route
7 by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 24 Jun 05 at 6:30 am.
Aaron Freeman Farnsworth, age 20, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Farnsworth
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jun 05 at 8:45
am.
Jason Lee Myers, age 20, 1011 Third Street,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Myers was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jun 05
at 2:00 pm.
David Thomas McNeely, age 31, 1953 Kappridge Box 731, Evans,
WV, for driving under a suspended license and for failure to
register, both misdemeanors. McNeely was arrested on Farson
Street in Belpre by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
24 Jun 05 at 8:22 pm.
Brandy Nicole Carder, age 19, 2503 Beverly Street Apt. 5A,
Parkersburg, for the illegal possession of chemicals for the
production of drugs, a felony. Carder was arrested on Eighth
Street in Marietta by Detective Nohe of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
24 Jun 05 at 10:00 pm.
