On 23 June 05 Deputy Sheriff Huck responded
to the scene of a fire along Dixon Road in Cutler. The brother
of the vehicle’s owner, Patrick E. Gates, age 51, 1310
Dixon Road, Cutler, was driving a tractor and pulling a wagon
containing 15 bales of hay when a motorist stopped and informed
him the hay was aflame. Successfully extinguished by the Dunham
Volunteer Fire Department, the suspicious fire remains under
investigation.
On 23 Jun 05 an employee of G & R Contracting,
35479 State Route 78, Lewisville, reported within the last
week three Briggs and Stratton ten horsepower motors have been
stolen from oil wells in the county. This case remains under
investigation (296).
On 23 Jun 05 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole conducted
a traffic stop after observing a westbound vehicle traveling
half the distance across the Putnam Street in the eastbound
lane. Noticing the driver’s bloodshot eyes, Deputy Stackpole
administered field sobriety tests on Ricardo S. Pascual, age
28, 708 Front Street Apt. 19, Marietta. Following Mr. Pascual’s
poor performance on the tests Deputy Stackpole arrested him
for OVI and for driving left of center and transported him
to the Washington County Jail.

were processed into the Washington County Jail:
David Wayne Hensler, age 27, 30155 State Route
7, Marietta, for .08 breath OVI, for driving under an OVI suspended
license and for failure to register, all misdemeanors. Hensler
was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta by Lt. Huffer of the
Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 23 Jun 05 at 12:05 am.
Joseph Paul Perry, age 42, 909 Fourth Street, Marietta, for
disorderly conduct by fighting, a misdemeanor. Perry was arrested
at his residence by Patrolman Titus of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
23 Jun 05 at 12:25 am.
Ricardo Solorzano Pascual, age 29, 708 Front Street Apt. 19,
Marietta, for OVI and for driving left of center, both misdemeanors.
Pascual was arrested on Gilman Street in Marietta by Deputy
Sheriff Stackpole and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 23 Jun 05 at 1:00 am.
David Wayne Hensler, age 27, 30155 State Route
7, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Hensler was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Jun 05
at 11:30 am.
Jeffrey Alan Null, age 26, 115 Prairie Drive, Belpre, for
violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Null
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Morris of the Belpre
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 23 Jun 05 at 1:30 pm.
Tracy Luann Tice, age 19, 406 Florence Street Apt. 2, Belpre,
for theft, a felony. Tice was arrested at her residence by
Deputy Sheriff Coppernoll and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 23 Jun 05 at 2:25 pm.
Kenneth Shane Reyes, age 21, 716 Franklin Street Apt. B, Belpre,
for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Reyes was
arrested at the Adult Probation Office by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Jun 05
at 4:00 pm.
Freddie Wayne Ellison, age 35, 2255 Sheets Run Drive, New
Matamoras, for operating without a license, a misdemeanor.
Ellison was arrested on State Route 7 by Officer Travaglio
of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 23 Jun 05 at 11:39 pm.
