On 19 Jun 05 Deputy Sheriff Evans responded
to the scene of a structure fire at 1061 Sealy Ridge Road,
Little Hocking. The Little Hocking and Dunham Township Fire
Departments extinguished the blaze without further incident.
While no one was injured in the fire, circumstances exist causing
investigators to believe the cause was not accidental. This
case remains under investigation.
On 19 Jun 05 Rachel L. Hasley, age 32, 2015
Newell’s Run Road, New Matamoras, reported her live-in
boyfriend’s sixteen year old son allegedly lunged toward
her with a broom and when his father impeded him, the juvenile
allegedly punched her in the head. This case remains under
investigation (1184).
On 19 Jun 05 Angela West, age 21, 174 Dawes
Circle, Marietta, reported while she was at Lang’s Farm
Campground with friends, she engaged in an argument with Eric
Snodgrass, age 21, 216 Main Street, Lowell. During the argument
Mr. Snodgrass grabbed her by the hair, flung her to the ground
and landed on her. Confirming Ms. West’s story with witnesses,
Deputy Sheriff Evans located Mr. Snodgrass, arrested him for
assault and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 19 Jun 05 Evette Hardie, age 27, 96 Main
Street, Waterford, reported on the two occasions when she asked
her live-in boyfriend to drive her to a family Father’s
Day gathering, he allegedly slapped her once each time.
On 19 Jun 05 an employee of Miller’s
AM/PM, State Route 821, Marietta, reported the driver of a
white Blazer drove off without paying for $25.03 worth of gasoline.
Deputy Sheriff Eddy located the vehicle’s owner whose
boyfriend, Michael W. Grahame, age 25, 843 Moss Run Road, Marietta,
admitted stealing the gasoline. Based on his admission, Deputy
Eddy requested a summons for Mr. Grahame for theft as well
as issuing him a citation for driving under an FRA suspended
license.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Eric Bradley Snodgrass, age 21, 216 Main Street,
Lowell, for assault, a misdemeanor. Snodgrass was arrested
at Lang’s Farm Campground by Deputy Sheriff Evans and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jun 05 at 2:55
am.
Everett Christopher Freeland, age 20, 451 Eyerman Road, Belpre,
for theft, a misdemeanor. Freeland was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 19 Jun 05 at 1:25 pm.
