On 14 Jun 05 Joseph S. Antill, age 28, 2295
Silver Globe Road, Marietta, reported within the last six days,
two trailers on his uncle’s property at 5195 Warren Chapel
Road, Marietta, were entered and a nine millimeter handgun
was stolen. This case remains under investigation (232).
DRUG TEAM EXECUTES SEARCH
WARRANT, SEIZES 142 MARIJUANA PLANTS
On Tuesday 14 June 05 members of the Washington
County Drug Team executed a search warrant at the residence
of Jules
R. Casto (click for photo), age 40,
430 Robinson Hill Road, Marietta. Items seized were 142 marijuana
plants, small amounts of processed marijauna, alleged residue
of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and several weapons. The
plants were in small containers growing on a back porch. Casto
was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and transported
to the Washington County Jail. Assisting in the search efforts
was Washington County K-9 handler Randy Stackpole and his dog
Aboo. Aboo is Washington County's new K-9 unit replacing Magnum
who recently passed away. Information concerning additional
charges will be sent forward to the Washington County Prosecutor
for possible grand jury action\
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Eldon Lavern Church Jr., age 19, McConnelsville,
for receiving stolen property, a misdemeanor. Church was picked
up at the Guernsey County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Jun 05
at 1:00 pm.
Erica Jean Deford, age 25, 120 Walker Street, Marietta, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines.
Deford was arrested near the Putnam Street Bridge by Patrolman
Heddleston of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 14 Jun 05 at 3:00 pm.
Jules Randall Casto, age 40, 430 Robinson Hill Road, Marietta,
for possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Casto
was arrested at his residence by Detective Jenkins of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 14 Jun 05 at 4:20 pm.
Blake Edmond Stoneman, age 20, 2211 Sixth Avenue, Parkersburg,
for driving under suspension and for failure to control, both
misdemeanors. Stoneman was picked up at the Belpre City Police
Department by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 14 Jun 05 at 9:15 pm.
